What's wrong with White Pride?

In some ways Black people for instance seem to have more right than White people.

For example. If I were to smack a white man in the face, it's assault. That's fair.

If I were to smack a black man in the face, it's racialy aggravated assault. Yet if he were to hit me, it's just assault.

How's that fair or equal?

I guess it all hinges on whether you call this black man a N....r or some other reference to their colour, which would make it a racially aggravated assault. Much as most of you try to be oh so racially tolerant and say you'd never do such a thing, it's human nature and common knowledge that it would be the first thing out of your mouth.

Unfortunately you guys seem to only focus on those black people who not only have a chip on their shoulder, but also use the race card as and when it suits them. This reflects badly on the many who do not cite racism as being the reason for every difference of opinion.

Well I can't say for sure that I wouldn't utter a racist insult if I were fighting with a black person, but i'd try not to. It's just something I've noticed about the law.

Is it true that in Canada, that black/Latino/Immigrants etc, get hired for jobs and such before a Canadian white male citizen?
I think that's deemed unfair.. so they have more rights that way.

About black people being racists though, I think the police would find it petty if a white man reported a black man calling him a cracker. They have the same, if not more rights than white people. But who cares anyways? Everyone has human 'rights'-- apparently.

Anyway, even if you do refrain from shouting racist insults during a fight, they seem to assume that you attacked the black person just because they're black, not because they're being a c0ck. A friend of a friend got done for it.

its not about color, its about being proud of your heritage. its simple as that. no 1 is better than the other. were all human and when people start to lable thier skin color, then thats where the problem is.. thats my take slams the door * waves at mariah* if shes out there somewhere

I know what you are trying to say. And I can understand the frustration that goes with it. But look at it this way. The more ppl separate themselves, the more they promote separation of groups. It may be unfair, but we don't need to meet with other Caucasians in order to feel like we belong to something or connected to something. I would join an Italian, Irish, or Scottish club, but because that is my heritage and I would love to learn more about my heritage. If that is what other cultures are doing then there should not be a problem. I know where I use to live there was a Young Italian Men's organization, which no one had a problem with. If ppl are meeting according to color in order to promote hate, well they will get the hate they promote. So we don't need to worry about them. Look at how hated the white aryan nation is, by white ppl as much as other groups. It is the same thing. If the group is hated based it will receive the hate. But if it is culturally based then it is just ppl sharing and celebrating their heritage. I think the reason "white" clubs are frown upon is because there is not a "white" heritage. There is English, German, Swiss, French, and so on and so on. Maybe what ppl should try to do is start Irish heritage club, or French, German and so on and so on. Make it about the heritage not the color. Oh and my high school had a German club, I love it when they had their bake sale. But it was a celebration of German history and heritage. I hope this made sense.

Yea, my highschool had a german club too, but you didn't have to be german to join or participate it was open to everybody like at all highschools. It was dropped though I don't know why.

I don't think all those clubs would work because they would be considered racist. Also its not that easy to find a full blood german or frenchy in america usually mutts, thats why the word white is used duh.

Whites to me are the least racist and most tolerant, think about the St. Patricks parade, it celebrates irish heritage/culture and all that but anybody can join the parade and black people and asians don't think twice about it, but if there was an african heritage parade (I don't know is there?) would there be any whites joining in? I don't think so, the white guy would look stupid.

The dutch are extremely tolerant, they have allowed over 50% of their 18-24 population
to become non-dutch heritage, i.e. non-white, this is the first time in history a native population has become a minority on its own lands without some sort of war or conflict. So I say this because someone in a previous post said that whites are the most racist, which is racist by saying that isn't it?

For goodness sake, St Patty's Day sounds like something they've have to celebrate "krabby patties" on Spongebob. You obviously don't realise either that an Irish man is usually called a paddy (inoffensively or offensively, I guess depending on who says it or how it's said).

I don't want a white heritage day for myself or anyone, but with all the equality issues always going on in the world, it should be brought up.
