    Default Interview Outfit

I have an interview at an Ann Taylor store on Sunday. What should I where? Honestly, I've never shopped there before, but they were hiring and I applied.

    ooo Ann Taylor Loft?
    They have some great stuff.
I'd wear some nice khaki pants with a nice shirt or blouse.
ya know' maybe even dark pair of straight jeans with a nice spring like top.
don't wear anything you don't want, make sure it represents you & your personality.
    OF course nice shoes !
    gotta look presentable, obviously
    their clothes are pretty expensive.
we're talking 50+ for a pair of jeans.

I would wear a nice spring suit, nice blouse, heels, maybe a pair of small earings and carry a nice purse.

I say go with Carrie's suggestion or I would suggest:

    1. Pair of slacks maybe like:

    2. Ankle pants

If you're going to go with jeans, definitely make sure they aren't faded/have holes. Also if you're going to wear jeans, you can dress jeans up with heels and make them look nicer.

imo Ann Taylor has a more conservative feel, so I would suggest avoiding cleavage and all that.

Wear a cute dress. They are more likely to remember you. My old boss said she hired me because she liked the dress I had on. IT WORKS.

it's sunday.. let us know how your interview went!

    It went well, thanks guys!

However, with this economy that doesn't mean it's enough. I was up against an English teacher who was recently laid off and a girl who just got back from fighting in Iraq. And then there's me, a college student looking for part time work.
