Amazon gives $5 coupon to customers who purchased 2K, Ubi, EA or THQ game this year

Amazon is offering a $5 coupon on digitally distributed PC products to those who purchased a product on Amazon from publishers 2K, Ubisoft, EA and THQ during 2012. Some of these games can be activated on Steam, while others are Origin. The real fine print is when the coupons can actually be used -- anyway, it's a lot of details, which we'll get into after the break.

OK, 2K is offering $5 coupons on all digitally distributed 2K PC products on sale at Amazon (over $9.99) to every customer who purchased a 2K product in 2012. Coupons can be used from December 26 until New Year's Eve.

All products activate on Steam.

2K Mega Pack - $29.99 ($24.99 after coupon) contains:

Fruit Ninja Kinect gets the chop in today's Xbox Live Countdown to 2013 deal

Tapping in to that long-held Yuletide tradition of throwing fruit around and trying to slice it mid-air, Fruit Ninja Kinect and its add-ons are splattered all over Xbox Live's Countdown to 2013 Xmas Day sale. Halfbrick's produce-pruner has its price chopped in half today to 400 MSP, while its four DLC packs - namely 8-bit Cartridge, Art Box, Space Capsule, and Storm Season - are down by 50 percent to 80 MSP each.

Four other games also got price cuts in their stockings today. Carrying on the Kinect-ified ninja theme, Mini Ninjas Adventures is 50 percent off at 400 MSP. Also discounted on this merriest of days are Rock of Ages (75 percent off at 200 MSP), Hydro Thunder (67 percent off at 400 MSP), and another Kinect game inLeedmees (75 percent off at 200 MSP).

Tropico takes advantage of SimCity situation, on sale for 75% off

El Presidente knows how to capitalize on the mistakes of his enemies. The offline-capable Tropico franchise is taking advantage of the always-onlineSimCity debacle with a 75 percent discount on the entire series on Steam.

The best deal in all the discounts is that the excellent Tropico 4 in its "Collector's Bundle," which includes every piece of DLC, along with the Modern Times expansion (which includes another full campaign), is only $10.

The Tropico sale will last one week until March 15. That should be enough time for EA to figure out the SimCity servers. We really, really, really hope.Tropico 4 (7/20/11)

Humble Weekly Bundle serves up Darksiders 2, also Android bundle

Darksiders 1 & 2 and Red Faction: Guerrilla & Armageddon comprise the second batch of weekly offerings from Humble Indie Bundle, with all four PC games currently on offer at ridicucheap prices. Pay up $1 and you'll pick upDarksiders and RF: Armageddon, with the soundtracks to both included along with the 'Path to War' DLC for Armageddon.

However, if you're willing to pony up more than the average paying price, you'll also get Darksiders 2 (plus soundtrack) and RF: Guerrilla. At the time of writing, the pair can be yours for around the very, very silly $7.50 mark.

Meanwhile on Android, there's another Humble Bundle for the platform called the Mobile Bundle. Featuring in the latest charitable collection are Contre Jour,Anomaly Korea, Plants vs. Zombies, and Bladeslinger. As ever you can pay what you want, but an average-cough up (around $5.50 at the mo) lets you unlock the secrets of The Room, and generally shoot up stuff in Metal Slug 3.
