Default That Star Wars Thread I Was Talking About

Story: In the few years after the second Death Star's eradication, Luke Skywalker worked on a few arduous tasks. In addition to helping peace returned to the galaxy, he pushed for the Jedi Council to accept any race as a capable Jedi, just so long as the individual is sensitive to the force. Skywalker also restored a Jedi temple and taught there in some peace for many years until his death.

However, because Luke made it acceptable for half breeds and fuck ups to be let in, the Jedi Order slowly deteriorated and became unorganized, allowing the Sith to rise once again.

8023 - The galaxy is now once again in danger of falling under corrupted control, and the Jedi Order fights amongst itself, arguing about which individuals will make a good council.

8024 - Ari'nath Cyvilt is elected as supreme ruler of the galaxy and chief member of the Jedi Council. He quickly sets to work electing a new Council, and only two are actual Jedi Masters.

8026 - Cyvilt's obvious corruptness and incompetence is exposed and small uprisings begin to appear on the outer rim planets.

8027 - Civil war breaks out and many on the Council resign, leaving positions open for actual Jedis. The Sith gains more control and influence, and three Jedis are elected to Council. One of these is a Sith spy.

8030 - The civil war has raged for three years now, but the Rebellion is starting to lose. Cyvilt is now backed by the Sith, and he allows them to thrive as a necessary evil. The council members who oppose this decision--the two legitimate Jedi Masters--are swiftly put to death.

8031 - The Jedi Council now consists entirely of politicians and Sith lords. The Rebellion is nearly out of the picture and the Council is moving for control of the military and all other assets of the galaxy. The outer rim planets gain newfound vigor and separate themselves entirely from the rest of the galaxy, becoming rogue planets. The remaining Rebellion retreats to these planets, and the Council forsakes them, figuring the rogues will die without their help.

8032 - The few remaining Jedi Masters come out of hiding to settle on the planets and begin recruiting Padawans. Jedi Temples are erected, and the Order establishes a strong foothold on the rogue planets. The Council becomes angry and unleashes an attack on one of these planets, but the Rebellion fights back and easily thwarts the attack. Cyvilt is expelled from the Council and dies shortly afterward. More planets begin separating themselves from the Council, and the Rebellion grows.

8033 - The Council is now controlled entirely by the Sith, and so are the planets who are still under Council rule. It becomes illegal for a Jedi to breathe, and sheltering Rebels is an offense punishable by death. The Rebellion and the Jedi Order join forces to put an end to the Sith. An overall supreme ruler is elected to rule the galaxy, the leader of the Sith, Salazan Vantabar.

8034 - The civil war now rages, and the galaxy is split up between The Jedi Rebellion and The Sith Order.

For the sake of intensity, don't make your character a simple footsoldier. Generals and leaders, please. This means that you can be the leader of The Sith Order if you so please. That kind of thing is first come first serve, however, so if someone is already the president of U'snuzuluz, you can't be, too. Characters are defined basically below. If you are to be one of these characters, you will need to fill in additional background information and the sort. Please don't be a lazy ass and say you're the Leader Of Fuckall with no character development.

    We like character development.

    Character development is your friend.

    IMPORTANT CHARACTERS

    ~In the Sith~
Supreme Ruler Salazan Vantabar: As was mentioned, the leader of The Sith Order and supreme ruler of the galaxy. He's a heartless son of a bitch and thinks of his generals as simple prawns and tools. His age is 51, but he is a skilled wielder of the Force. His sword skills are poor. As with all the other characters, you will decide how he looks.

General Viciouston: Salazan's right hand man, also know as the Hound of Hell. His sword skills surpass all the other Sith generals, but he is a bug when it comes to the Force. His age is 29, and he always tries to make Salazan proud. But he doesn't, because Vantabar is a heartless bastard.

General Samantha:Also on the council, Samantha is a very skilled pilot and military strategist. Her sword skills and force skills are balanced very evenly, and both are formidable. Samantha is only 23.

Note: Please feel free to make your own general on either side if the presets don't seem enticing to you.

    ~In the Rebellion~
I HAVE DIBS ON Rebellion Leader Sylvius Litington: Litington is the leader of the Rebellion and a self-taught Jedi. While his sword and force skills are not super insanely good, they are both evenly balanced and he can handle himself. Sylvius makes up for this by being a skilled acrobat and a cunning strategist. One squad under his control can equal two if he plays his cards right, and he usually does. Litington is merely 20 years of age.

General Vyen San'Unda: A tusken raider before Sylvius saw that he had formidable control over the force, San'Unda is the Rebellion Leader's right hand man and closest friend. The two are on a first name basis and for good reason. They have saved each other's lives countless times. San'Unda is, as mentioned before, very strong with the force and very rarely draws his lightsaber. When he does, he can handle himself, but he is much more proficient with the Force. It should be noted that while San'Unda is beneath Litington when it comes to rank, neither of them feel that there is any difference between them anywhere else.

General Liana: Very skilled with a gun and twice as skilled with a lightsaber, General Liana is not in tune with the Force at all. Due to her abilities with a melee weapon, she was given a lightsaber that one doesn't need the Force to wield. Liana is also an impressive mechanic and was known for her high quality prosthetic limbs. If you need one, Liana's your girl. She's 27.

Another note: Remember that you will have to detail the preset character's background story and appearance.

Some differences between the Sith and the Rebellion:

It is mandatory for a Rebel General to lead his men in battle, and while Sith usually don't, it is not unheard of for them to do the same.

Sith play dirty; the Rebellion is all about honor.

The Rebellion takes prisoners; the Sith executes Rebels on the battlefield, even if they have surrendered.

REMEMBER THAT YOUR CHARACTER CAN USE WHATEVER STYLE OF LIGHTSABER HE SO CHOOSES, AND THAT YOU CAN HAVE UP TO THREE FORCE POWERS:
Blue = Jedi Only ___ Red = Sith Only ___ Black = Both Can Use

    Force Lightning
    Force Choke

    Force Deception/Jedi Mind Tricks
Force Cloaking (Makes you invisible to the weak minded.)
    Force Blast
Force Maelstrom (A huge, 360 degree force blast that takes time to charge. It exhausts you if you do not have Amplified Force Powers.)
    Thrown Lightsaber
Force Dash and Jump (Package deal :D)
Force Arc -see here if you don't know what this is-
    Amplified Force Powers*
    Amplified Lightsaber Skill*

*If your character uses an amplifying skill, he cannot have both.

Had to edit because it was too long.

    The Rogue Planets:
Yavet - Where the Rebellion is based. It is covered almost entirely by cities. It was the first planet attacked by the Order. There are more Rebels on this planet than on any other two planets combined.

J'sut - Another planet that has played a vital role in the Rebellion's growth, J'sut is the main source of training and intelligence for the Rebellion. It is here that apprentices for the Rebellion are found.

Weheir - A farming planet, Weheir supplies the food and rations for all of the Rebellion. Because it is so important, there is a high military presence there. Were the Sith Order to wipe it out, the Rebellion would be in deep shit.

Tonnot - A desert planet closest to the sun. Tonnot is covered mostly by Tusken Raiders, but there are three Jedi Temples there. It is said that the training on Tonnot is the toughest in the galaxy. It is here that General San'Unda of the Rebellion learned the ways of the Force.

Hanrana - Hanrana was the first planet to break away from the Order's Control and establish itself as a rogue planet. Hanrana is covered with criminals and s***, and is the definition of the word "rebellion." Although most of the planet is grimy trash, it is here that the Rebellion Fleet trains its pilots and engineers, and it trains them well.

Planets Under Control of The Council:
Sacorria - A rich and fertile Core planet, whose main export is rations to the Republican Starfleet.

Avirandel - A barren, rocky planet upon which the Republic trains their Starfleet.

Raxus Prime - A planet in the Outer Rim, it has only recently been captured by the Council. Raxus Prime is covered with scrap metal and is a primary shipyard for the Sith Council.

Denon - Where the Council is based. There is a high military presence and the unfortunate souls who were too unlucky to escape are mistreated and abused. Denon has been on the brink of uprising for a few years, but because of the military police's control, such an uprising would be quickly ended.

Coruscant - Where war criminals go to die, this is where the Council meets. Coruscant on the surface is a military and political puppet for the Council, where soldiers are trained and where the Senate is based. However, under the surface in the underworld, ill thoughts of the Council lurk. Coruscant could easily be overtaken by an uprising, and it would be a very bloody battle.

    Name: General Samantha

    Age: 23

Appearance: She looks like this, but also has a lightsaber and a blaster pistol hanging off her belt.

Background: During Samantha's youth, she was a happy child growing up with her parents. But one day, she was seen as a force sensitive little girl. Not caring that she was older than most of their recruits, they whisked her away to the Jedi Academy. For years she complained about missing her parents, only to be silenced by the Jedi Masters training her. After a while her resentment towards the Academy grew into anger, and then hatred. The Academy did not noticed this because Samantha only acted like a model student. Being the best in the class, taking in all the training.

The day she was dubbed Jedi Knight status, she was recongised by a Sith Master by her hatred. He took advantage of this and manipulated her into becoming his Apprentice. Not knowing that she was smarter than he was, he trained her to be powerful at such a young age, she learned all she could from her Master. One day, she decided that the time is right to seek revenge of the Academy, and what better way than to corrupt it into more like her. She killed her master, and worked up the ranks to join the Council. She even took on a Sith Apprentice of her own to help corrupt the Galaxy.

What Kind of Lightsaber Your Character Uses and Their Fighting Style: Samantha generally wields one lightsaber with an agressive fighting style. The blade is the colour red for her rage and hatred.
    This, but with red blade

    Sith Powers:
    Force Lightning
    Force Drain
    Force Dash and Jump

    Side: The Sith Order

Additional/Misc. Information: She keeps her Sith Apprentice a secret. Only she knows his/her true identity. (OOC: Might create this Apprentice at another time)

Okay, so I changed my mind AGAIN and I actually am gonna be Liana. Lul, mood swings.

    Sheet:

    {{Super long backstory is super long. I like me some star wars.}}

    Name: General Revi Liana

    Age: 27

Appearance: 5’5”, athletic build, clickan here(minus the tattoo obviously).

Background: Revi grew up in the underworld of Coruscant. While humans were prosperous on the planet’s surface, in the Undercity, they were scarce, usually too weak to survive the malicious environment, infested with dangerous and violent species, both sentient and non-sentient. Revi never knew her parents and was raised by a Bith mechanic named Durandal. Though she was only his assistant, Durandal treated Revi like a daughter. He was killed by a customer who claimed he charged too much to repair his air car, when Revi was sixteen.

Knowing she wouldn’t last long in the Undercity on her own, Revi made the dangerous journey to the planet’s surface. She joined the Republican Starfleet Academy as an engineer and her skills earned her a quick graduation and placement on a General’s fleet. Her predecessor, General Rayna Landa’o, took an interest in Revi. Though she was not Force sensitive, Revi’s skills as a gunwoman and swordswoman were well advanced. General Landa’o sensed the coming turbulence in the Order and knew Revi would be a great asset to them.

Revi worked her way up the ranks under the General Landa’o, who she grew to idolize. During the trials in which two Jedi council members were put to death, Landa’o criticized the decision. She was swiftly branded a traitor and summarily executed. This was the last straw for Revi and she left the Starfleet, holding nothing but contempt in her heart for the Jedi Order. She stole a small starship and fled to Tatooine.

Revi lived a quiet life in exile for the next two years, working as a mechanic. As far as she was concerned, the galaxy could deteriorate to Hell, so long as she could live out her life in the Outer Rim. However, she was approached by General Vyen San'Unda, an old friend of Landa’o. He’d heard nothing but good things about her and asked her to join their Rebellion against the Order. Revi swiftly declined, bitterly referring to San'Unda as Jedi scum. But that night, Revi had a dream in which Landa’o urged her to join this Rebellion, saying she would be needed. After contemplating it, Revi told San'Unda she had reconsidered and would join their Rebellion.

She helped construct her lightfoils, designed specifically for one who is not in tune with the Force. Though she wields them as well as the most Force adept Jedi. Because of her combat skills and knowledge of the Order, having been a protégé of General Landa’o, Revi was quickly given the rank of General. She much less formal than most Generals and leaders. She’s a very ragtag girl at heart and has a fiery temper that she has no qualms with expressing.

Lightsaber: Revi wields twin shoto lightfoils with tonfa shaped hilts and gold light crystals. (Like this, but with gold blades instead of green.) Revi's lightfoils are prototypes which she helped design. They are much more powerful than the typical knock off lightfoil and they're quality is on par with Jedi lightsabers.

Combat Style: Because she is not Force-sensitive, when battling those who are, Revi knows she has to be careful. She must use a careful balance of defence against the abilities of the Sith and Jedi, as well as always taking opportunities of moments when she can fit in an attack. So her style appears to be mostly defensive based, but this is only at the beginning of the battle, when she is focusing on her enemies attack patterns. Once she has an idea of how you fight, she will immediately switch to an offensive style.

Let it not be assumed that Revi relies solely on her lightsabers. When she must, she is ready and able to fight with blasters. Though they are sometimes referred to as clumsy weapons, Revi handles them with exceptional grace, able to handle herself well with them even against powerful Force-sensitives.

Revi loves fighting. She will actually prolong a battle if she can. She does this wisely however, never at very crucial moments, and only with combatants she deems worthy. If she recognizes someone is weaker than her, she will make sport of them quickly.

Sith Powers: Lightsaber Throw. (This isn’t technically a Sith power, as Revi does not use the Force. She has simply trained strenuously and is incredibly gifted at wielding her lightsabers, that she has learned to physically and accurately project her weapon for long distance attacks. The main difference between this ability and the actual Force power being that she has to physically retrieve the weapon, as she cannot use the Force to draw it back to her.)

    Side: The Jedi Rebellion

Additional/Misc. Information: Revi has a passion for speeders and weakness for gambling.

((Has been edited, even more so. -___-))

    Name:
Nelia Vorta Verena Eriobea Nali Armande (Yes really long name for the win.)

    Age: 17

Appearance: 5’1, small petite build, heavy eye-lids giving her an apathetic look, pale skin, blue eyes - Click here.

    Background:
Nelia suffers from amnesia and has no memory of her childhood or early adolescent; the closest she has come to remembering something is with the haunting and confusing dreams she has, which she can’t determine anything from. Nelia was personally recruited by the rebel leader Sylvius Litington himself when she was fourteen. He found her wandering one of the desert planets in the outer rim covered in blood, badly injured and with no memories. Having been left out there alone any longer she would have undoubtedly died, and because of his rescuing of her and taking her in, she has a deep personal loyalty to both him and the Rebellion.

When taken into the Rebellion it was evident that she was very in tune with the Force, and she also appeared to have a predisposition toward medical abilities. Within her three years of service she has become high up in the medical division and there is little she hasn’t dealt with or seen.

What Kind of Lightsaber Your Character Uses and Their Fighting Style:
Uses one single green Lightsaber, though she is very poor with it and mostly uses guns, tending to dual wield blasters. She is however extremely adept with the Force, and is also an experienced medic.

    Sith Powers:

Stimulation of cells through the Force (healing via cell regeneration)
Can manoeuvre veins to slow bleeding
    Force Blast

    Side:
    The Jedi Rebellion

Additional/Misc. Information: Because of Nelia's lack of memories and constant viewing of bloodshed and injury she has become incredibly hardened.
She seldom shows emotion at all and when she does it is usually undetectable it's so subtle. She is even like this when around people she's close to; of whom there aren't many, as she keeps herself at a distance. She's been this way ever since Sylvius found her, contrary to the popular belief among others that she's only the way she is because of the war. Nelia is incredibly calm and collected person, even in the face of death, which is probably one of the reasons she shows such little feeling.

Oddly the only thing Nelia remembers of her past is her ridiculously long name.

    Name: Ai Enma

    Age: 16

Appearance: 4’10”, small features, physically fit, long white hair that goes down to her lower back, pale green eyes (Click heeeeere.)

Background: Ai’s father was a Master on the Jedi Council who spoke out against the rising corruption among the Order the Republic. He was advised to keep his mouth shut, lest he become a liability. This motivated him to resign. He moved to Cloud City, where he met and fell in love with Ai’s mother. A year after their wedding, Ai was born. It was clear from very early on that she was a powerful Force-sensitive and by this time, the corruption in the Republic was beginning to spread. Her father trained her in the ways of the Force so that she would be able to learn discipline and control, and never to stray from the righteous path.

Both to avoid the corrupt Republic and to keep their daughter away from the Council that would inevitably pick up on her power, her parents moved to Corellia to live a solitary life. She was twelve when this happened and viewed it as cowardly. Ai felt her father was betraying his duties as a Jedi by fleeing instead of staying to fight the corruption, as she’d heard of so many others doing.

It wasn’t long until Cyvilt’s iron fist reached Corellia. Ai’s father and other the Jedi who had fled to the planet were arrested and charged with high treason. He accepted his sentence quietly to protect his family from any consequences of backlash, though Ai only saw it as cowardly.

She and her mother fled to the Outer Rim, to the Forst Santuary of Endor, the moon orbiting the planet Endor and a fairly peaceful place amongst the chaos the galaxy was in. However, she didn’t stay there long. When she heard of the Rebellion on planet Yavet, she knew this was the only way to free herself of the shame she felt for her father and to make a righteous stand in the universe. At fourteen, she stowed away on a cargo ship to Yavet.

When signing up for the Rebellion, Ai’s abilities were immediately recognized by Sylvius Litington, who took her under his wing as a Padawan Apprentice.

Lightsaber: She wields a standard lightsaber with a green blade.

Combat style: Ai is a capable swordswoman, handling her lightsaber well, but her true powers lie in her Force abilities. She is extremely adept at her Force Powers and relies on them in battle more than physical attack. Her main physical strong suit is her exceptional speed. She will never use a blaster and considers them cowardly weapons.

She does not like or dislike fighting. She simply sees it as an occasional necessarily means to an end.

    Sith Powers:
    Amplified Force Powers
    Force Blast
    Force Dash and Jump
(These may change before getting things underway.)

    Side: The Jedi Rebellion

Additional/Misc. Information: Ai is extremely passionate about her duties as a Jedi and to the Rebellion, almost to the point of pride. She is almost obsessed with leading what she perceives to be a righteous path and avoiding the shame she believes her parents demonstrated when faced with the Sith Order. She has great respect for those who sacrifice themselves and tends to look down upon those who do not.

TIME TO GET THIS PARTY STARTED.
    ----

Ai waited in the shadows alongside the corridor of the great hall that once served as a festive place for nobles and bureaucrats. Many of the grand beams and pillars had been cracked and crumbled from constant fighting. The entire planet was in turmoil as the Rebellion struggled to keep the Sith from expanding their control to the planet. It was a territory they could not afraid to lose. General Sylvius was on the other side of the wall, hiding behind the opposite beam. The two were waiting for the squad of Republican troops to storm out so they could take them down without alarming units hidden deeper within the hall. Ai waited for her Master’s cue.

Sylvius looked over once and then back at Ai, nodding. She acknowledged, her lightsaber in hand. The two simultaneously jumped out of hiding, taking the unit by surprise. They cut through them easily and quietly enough, before charging onward, making use of the debris that had fallen from the crumbled ceiling to hide themselves when they had to.

As they moved on farther, they were the once taken by surprise. One of the doors along the hall’s walls opened and a group of Republican troops charged onward. The two Jedi sprung to action however, quickly overcoming the troops, though Sith were alerted of their position.

Ai sent a Force blast at one the unit, sending them flying backward. Their blasters were knocked from their hands. As one of them reached for his, she dashed toward him, cutting his arm clean off. She quickly looked to Sylvius, who was taking care of another cluster. But behind him, there was one of the Sith Apprentices crouched down. He pulled out his lightsaber and went to attack and Ai’s eyes widened.

“Master!” she called out, and has he turned the Sith jumped at him, but Ai used her Amplified Force technique to put haste in her dash, coming between to the two of them and cutting the Sith down. When she turned back to Sylvius he gave her an appreciative smile and nod. Ai smiled back and the two of them quickly pressed onward.

They were coming to the main gallery where the communication’s bureau of the Sith Order had been set up. They had to destroy it to keep them from sending data back to the Republic. But when they reached the gallery, the room was empty aside from the piles of rubble. The two Jedi looked around in confusion when suddenly they sensed the approach of a powerful being. They turned to see General Viciouston standing there, smiling with satisfaction.

“It appears you’ve fallen right into our little trap, Master Jedi,” he hissed.
“Viciouston,” Ai spat his name, emitting her lightsaber and taking a defensive stance.
“Ai,” Sylvius spoke suddenly. “Get out of here.”
Her eyes widened and she turned to him. “What?” she asked in disbelief. “I won’t leave you behind, Master.”
“Now,” he ordered, giving her a stern look.

Ai clenched her fists tightly, every bone in her body screaming at her to disobey him, but in the end, she did as she was ordered. With withdrew her lightsaber, taking one more opportunity to glare at Viciouston before she turned on her heels and dashed for the exit, running as fast as she could.

She kept repeating to herself that she was simply obeying her Master, that she was running because she was told and that she could trust his decision. That she was not running from fear. I am not afraid, she thought over and over. I would have stayed. I tried to stay. I am not afraid.

She encountered a few Republican troops on her course back to their secret medical and Starfleet landing pad, but it was nothing she couldn’t handle. She made extra certain that no one followed her there and didn’t stop moving until she reached the caves in which the rebels were hiding. Many of the injured had been brought there and the medical staff was scuttling about to take care of them all. Ai didn’t even realize she herself injured until Nelia Armande approached her with a startled look.

“Ai, your arm,” she said, indicating to the girl’s limb.

Ai looked down and saw that her upper right arm had been cut rather deeply. Nelia quickly pulled a bit of gauze from her pocket, using it to clean the blood away.

“I’m alright, Nelia,” Ai insisted. “You should look at the others.”
“Of course you are,” Nelia replied, turning up the corner of her mouth. She urged Ai to take a seat so she could clean the wound. “What of General Litington?” she asked quietly.

Ai pressed her lips together and lowered her head. “It was a trap,” she said quietly. “Set up by General Viciouston.”

Nelia seemed to get the idea that Ai didn’t want to talk about it. She looked at her sympathetically, before giving her knee a squeeze. “Don’t worry, Ai,” she urged. “He’ll be alright. He’s Sylvius,” she added with a smile.

Ai nodded, offering a weak smile back. Nelia was right, she had to have faith in him. And he wasn’t dead yet. That much she could sense.

Revi was all keyed up to find the Sith had actually decided to see to this invasion personally instead of sending their Republican lapdogs in as pawns. There weren’t many, but they’re were enough to keep Revi entertained. Her lightfoils were getting a good work out cutting through the Republican troops that stood guard around the Sith starship.

Subtly wasn’t Revi’s strong suit, but she was the only one in the mission that had been dispatched who knew how to manually dismantle a starship without causing any permanent damage. Once the invaders had been crushed, the Rebellion could use the starship themselves as they were always in need of new battle equipment.

After she made sport of the menial Republican troops, two Republican Guards approached her from either side, emitted their lightsabers. Revi grinned widely, looking between them and taking in the area.

“You boys are just in time,” she chimed. “I was starting to get bored.”

They both sprinted toward her in unison and Revi flipped backward, blocking their attacks and backing away, keeping her mind on the defensive and observing their techniques. They’d clearly fought together before and had crown accustom to each other’s fighting style, but this also meant they would depend on each other at certain points.

Revi hopped up onto the wing of the starship, eluding their attacks and waiting for a combination. When she caught the pattern they worked with, she also caught a weakness. When one went for a kill, the other would watch his back, meaning he wasn’t watching his own. She purposely turned her back as she jumped so one of them would go for the strike, keeping herself alert enough to dodge it and jump in behind both of them, slicing the back of the Guard who acted as defence. As he fell, the other one snarled at her.

“In the name of the Galactic Republic, you are under arrest!” he shouted, spinning his lightsaber spear in his hand.
“Have to catch me first!” she sang, withdrawing her lightfoil beams and jumping in behind the starship.

As the Republican Guard moved to find her, Revi remained silent, keeping close to the starship, but far enough so that he couldn’t hear her. When he had his back turned, she lifted a rock from the ground and threw it as high as she could. It crashed against the ground on the other side of the rocky hill and he quickly chased after it. When he was out of sight, Revi slid underneath the starship, popping open the main hanger and pulling the flash light from her pocket.

“Who put this ship together, a blind Ewok?” she grumbled as she fiddled with the accelerator grid. She bugged the ship so that it couldn’t make it out of the planet’s atmosphere, but before she could further tinker with it, she heard the Republican Guard return.

“Any sight of the rebel, sir?” one of the troops asked.
“She’s escaped. And we don’t have time to look for her. The Jedi should be walking into General Victiouston’s trap we speak. He may need reinforcements.”
“Understood, sir,” the soldier said and the two of them boarded the starship.

Revi heard the ignition start up and her eyes widened. “Oh balls,” she muttered and quickly closed up the hanger. She panicked, wondering what exactly she should do. If they took off, they would spot her and shoot her down immediately. Plus, the mission Sylvius and Ai had gone on was a trap and she wasn’t sure they knew it. She thought quickly as the ship started to lift from the ground and she quickly grabbed onto one of the landing steps, holding on tightly as they lifted into the air.

As Revi had presumed, the trap was set in the fallen grand gallery Sylvius was going to infiltrate. They were going to land just outside the gallery and as they flew over what used to be the ceiling that covered the gallery. Revi looked down and saw Sylvius locked in a duel with Viciouston. Sylvius was holding his own as he was a masterful acrobat, but Viciouston was unquestionably the better swordsman. Revi dropped down from the starship. They were as good as stranded on the planet now anyway. She landed on her feet, immediately pulling her lightfoils from her belt. The light from the beams reflected off her grin.

“Hey, Syl,” she greeted. “You looked like you could use a hand, little buddy.”

As Ai ran out of the hall, Sylvius shifted his weight and crossed his arms. He grinned at Viciouston, who returned the look, and spoke loudly.

    "It's a quiet fight, isn't it?"
"It will be silent when your blood flows on this marble, scum."

    Sylvius' grin widened.

"Very hostile. I can see why you're-"

Viciouston force dashed toward Sylvius and was mere inches away in under a second. Sylvius fell back onto the marble floor, slamming his back into it while Viciouston's saber swung just overhead. Sylvius raised his own saber to block an attack and then rolled away from Viciouston, rising to his feet. The Sith General dashed again and swung low, blocked by Sylvius who retreated even more.

Sylvius was back against a wall when the General lunged. The Rebel leader sidestepped his attack and then slid next to him, within swinging range. Viciouston took the chance to swing a punch at Sylvius, but the Rebel ducked and kicked hard into Viciouston's hip bone, causing a loud crack to echo in the hall. The General staggered back a bit and Sylvius retreated out of his range once more, grinning.

"I don't even have to draw my blade, Vicious'. Is it really that hard to kill something half your size?"

The General roared and dashed into Sylvius' range again, swinging madly and twice as aggressively as before. Sylvius blocked all of the attacks but each swing unbalanced him more and more until he was forced to fall onto his back again and twist away from a downward slash. Sylvius was crouched now, and his opponent swung low.

Jumping into the air, Sylvius avoided the attack but had nowhere to go when Vicious' joined him, force jumping and driving him into the bit of ceiling that was left. Sylvius let out a cry of pain and fell back to the marble floor, landed on his legs and tried to roll. He smashed his knee into the floor and grimaced. Footsteps approached fast from behind him, and he turned just in time to block another attack.

Sylvius pushed himself to his feet and the fight erupted into a flurry of swinging sabers and cracks of electricity. Sylvius could do nothing but black the onslaught and retreat backward slowly until he was once again against a wall. When Viciouston raised his lightsaber for a death blow, Sylvius let loose a force blow and knocked him back for breathing room.

"You carry yourself well for a man of your size," Sylvius remarked, out of breath.

The General's lungs were equally struggled. "I am elite."

"You're an arrogant asshole," Sylvius grinned.

A door to the hall opened and Republican soldiers piled in, aiming their blasters at Sylvius. They demanded he surrender and drop his weapons, but Sylvius didn't comply. Instead, he kept his calculating eyes trained on Viciouston while he caught his breath.

"We won't ask you again," one of the soldiers declared.

No, unfortunately, you won't, Nolre thought to himself. He raised his hand and let a Force blast loose above the squad, and the rest of the ceiling caved in, crushing them. Viciouston cracked his knuckles and Sylvius let out a final panting breath.

Sylvius dashed into the range of the General and started in with his own flurry of swings and slashes, but was at a disadvantage again almost immediately. When the two broke apart, sliding out of the other's range, Revi dropped from the hole in the ceiling to assist Sylvius.

“Hey, Syl,” she greeted. “You looked like you could use a hand, little buddy.”

"Only a little bit," Nolre grinned. He and Revi flanked Viciouston, charging either of his sides, and let in with a series of attacks that had the General retreating as Sylvius had only moments before.

Revi jumped just above the General and slashed at his head. The General stepped back to avoid this, and was unbalanced when Sylvius lunged his blade into the Sith's gut. Viciouston let out a pained roar and stepped back quickly, holding his gut. His breathing was labored, and he glared at Sylvius.

    "Damn you, Jedi."
"Now, that's not any way you would talk to your mother, is it?"
"If your pawn here hadn't come to your side, I'd have killed you already. My hands would be stained with your blood, and I would be promoted!"
"To what? Double general? You're as high as you can get, Viciouston, and--unfortunately--it's time for you to come back down."

The General winced and glared at Sylvius for a moment. Sylvius' grin faded, and he opened his mouth to declare Viciouston under arrest before he was charged one more time. Instinctively and blindly, Sylvius swung his lightsaber upward and stepped to the side, allowing the General's body to pass by him.

The Sith hit the floor hard and immediately began to scream. His lightsaber rolled away from him and he clutched at his face and throat, rolling onto his back and gurgling. Sylvius grimaced at the damage of his improvised attack.

His blade had cut through the General's mouth and exited through the side of his neck. Blood poured uncontrollably from the wounds and stained the dusty marble floors. Sylvius watched, frozen, as the man rolled around in his own red, screaming for help and choking. His arm thrashed at Sylvius and blood from his struggles splattered on Sylvius' cheek. The General gasped for air. Sylvius wiped the blood from his cheek.

He coughed up blood on himself and thrashed again at Sylvius, this time splattering Revi.

    "Oh, what the HELL?!"

A minute passed and the General's movements slowed and eventually ceased altogether, and Sylvius fell to his knees in guilt to pray.

Revi's foot tapped the marble behind him, and she crossed her arms as she waited. She sighed loudly and spat on his body when Sylvius finally rose to his feet. The Rebel couldn't take his eyes off of the blood, and he spoke to her softly.

"This war is nothing but give and take, Revi. Nothing but bloodshed and retaliation, which leads only to more bloodshed. I am ashamed to play such a large role in these slaughterings, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't believe it necessary."

Nolre ran his fingers through his hair and straightened his robe.

"Their General is dead. The forces will retreat soon. If you don't mind, I'd like to practice a moment of silence."
