Sylvius sat on the ground, leaning against the wall of a temporary building, rubbing his eyes. A rebel soldier with broken ribs sat next to him, going on about how much of an honor it was to finally meet their leader. Sylvius almost couldn't hear him over the distant screaming.

    "I'm just a man."
"But you're so much more than that! You're-"
    An idiot, Sylvius thought.
"-only a few years older than me! And you've been in countless battles, man. You've never even been hurt!"
"Do you want to be the leader of the Rebellion?"

The soldier stopped ranting for a moment and thought about it. Sylvius opened his troubled eyes and looked at the man.

"No, actually. It seems like a lot of pressure... to send so many men to their deaths... it has to drive you insane."
Sylvius sat there staring at the man for a moment longer before closing his eyes again and sighing.

    "I reckon it will."

Footsteps approached the two, and Sylvius reopened his eyes. A messenger stood saluting him, and Sylvius waited. The messenger said nothing.

    "..Go on."
"Sir, a transport with all of our able-bodied men is leaving now for Tonnot-"

Sylvius jumped to his feet and ran toward the hangar. Along the way he met San'Unda, who was also running. San'Unda grinned at him, but Sylvius, filled with guilt, couldn't bring a smile to his face. They ran in silence and climbed aboard the first starship to leave.

Sylvius took a seat and told the uptight soldiers in the transport that they could be at ease, and he once again closed his eyes. The transport lifted uneasily off the ground and gained altitude quickly. Once it was above the atmosphere, it set a course for Tonnot and jumped to hyperspace.

"Sir," the co-pilot spoke to Sylvius, "we've just received intelligence that a Republican ship was hijacked by a single Rebel and has landed on Tonnot."
Sylvius grinned. "Then that is where we will go. Find it and land in the same hangar."

The ship exited hyperspace with Tonnot in view. It descended through the atmosphere, and landed in the hangar. When the transport's doors opened, gunfire would have showered the soldiers were it not for San'Unda and Litington deflecting it. Sylvius stepped out into the hangar and force dashed toward a group of soldiers, cutting them down. A Sith made to slash at Sylvius' back, but the Rebel turned around and caught the Sith's throat.

Sylvius watched the man fall, remembering Viciouston, before he spotted Revi defending herself against a flurry of attacks from a young girl. Sylvius cut down another Sith before he began fighting his way toward Revi. When the two broke apart, Sylvius called out to her.

"Revi, having a bit of trouble with a young one?"
"It took you long enough to get here, Syl."
"I didn't have anything else to do."

Samantha smiled as her apprentice was neck-in-neck with this pathetic little soldier, but Reya was right, this young one wasn’t attuned to the force like we were. She knew she wouldn’t need to interrupt, she is training her apprentice well and with her abilities, she could easily take out this one.

"Revi, having a bit of trouble with a young one?"
"It took you long enough to get here, Syl."
"I didn't have anything else to do."

Samantha snarled at the new comer. She recognized the man and drew her lightsaber and ignited it. “You.” She said with a bit of anger behind it. “I will cut you down where you stand.” With that notion Samantha leaps forward with such speed and accuracy and took a swipe at the Jedi Master.

Sylvius blocked the unexpected incoming attack from Samantha and pushed her back a few feet to gain his feet positioning properly. It didn’t take before long where multi attacks from Samantha came raining down onto the Master. Samantha knew she could easily gain the upper ground if she were to force drain on him. But she wanted to unleash all her anger onto the Jedi.

“Reya, kill that Jedi wannabe. The Master is mine.” The tone in Samantha’s voice grew to hatred towards the man. It’s as if Samantha is seeking revenge for something in their past. Samantha remembers all too well on whom this man is. Sure it was 15 years ago, so he was much younger back then. This is the man that physically brought her to the Jedi Academy and away from her family. She is sure he would not remember her, 15 years is a long time, and clearly she has changed since then.

(OOC: Hope you don't mind being the cause of me being evil. Lol.)

{{Sylvius is only twenty. Fifteen years ago he would have been five, dragging an eight year old to a Jedi Temple.))
((Not to mention, Sylvius isn't the kind of person who would drag anyone anywhere.))
((If your character mistook him for his father, you might want to go into that.))

    ((Also, I noticed your verb tenses are all over the place. It's no big deal, but you might want to work on it. Roleplaying is generally written in the past tense.}}

(Yea, I'll mistake you for your father then. Forgot your character was young)
(On that note, wow already a general and jedi master at 20?)

    {{Well, Reya's at that level too, and younger than him. The only thing holding her back is her anger issues, and that's not fighting-wise, that just other-people-promoting-her-wise.}}

“There is no need for that report, Commander.” Reya looked over to see her master walking up the hallway to the main hall. “You have much to learn of the dark side, Reya.”

As she approached her face-to-face, Reya kneeled before her respectfully. She remained down on one knee as Samantha tortured one of the initiates, keeping her eyes to the floor. It wasn't that she couldn't stand to see the children tormented, far from it, but getting used to a new mentor after all this time was more than difficult, especially because of how much she had admired Khaan. In truth, she was only acting on her best behaviour because she knew she'd get nowhere otherwise. Corruption was a noble enough goal, but it wasn't quite the same as what she'd been taught; Khaan's way had become her own, so much so that she couldn't deviate from it, and this was not his way. She simply held her tongue and acted with the due respect, until eventually, she could have her vengeance.

“Fear leads to Anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” Samantha spoke as she finished with the child, pausing for a moment to let it sink in to Reya’s mind. “That is how we get to the dark side, my apprentice.”
    "Yes...Master."

As the older woman headed back outside, giving commands to the troops, Reya stood and walked behind her, her head lowered. When they reached the ships, however, they were met with some of the Jedi rebellion.

“Samantha,” a woman Reya recognised as General Liana smirked. “I should’ve known only someone with as little backbone as you would go after a group of kids. The Order has certainly reached new heights.”

Samantha ordered for Reya to take care of Liana and she obediently agreed and stepped forward. The woman raised her eyebrows.

“I don’t wanna hurt you, kid,” she said.
“That’s too bad,” the girl replied, unsheathing her lightsabers. “Because I’m dying to hurt you.”

The Jedi smirked and put her blaster back in its holster, taking her sabers in either hand and unsheathed them. She took a stance, lifting them defensively in front of her and preparing herself for Reya's attack, which seemed to catch her off guard. She still managed to block it, but when another attack came immediately afterwards, along with another and then another, the Jedi seemed to have to use more concentration than she'd been anticipating. However, still the woman didn't use any powers relating to the Force, and upon closer inspection, her sabers were not real sabers at all, they were lightfoils.

When they parted, Reya narrowed her eyes. “You are not strong in the Force,” she pointed out.
“I don’t have time for mystic religions,” Liana replied with a smirk.
“Do not underestimate the Force,” the Sith said and charged at her again.
“I don’t,” she replied as Reya's lightsabers clashed with her lightfoils. “I respect it.”

She moved backward slowly as Reya attacked her faster, making it harder and harder for the woman to block her attacks. Then suddenly, as she made to switch her position to attack a less defended area Liana swung her blades at her and caught her off guard, forcing their positions to switch, leaving Reya playing the defensive, something she hated. The rebel swung her tonfas at the girl persistently and swiftly until she jumped backward.

“How are you so skilled with a lightsaber?” the girl demanded.
“Kid, I wouldn’t be alive today if I couldn’t handle myself against Force-sensitives.”
Slowly, the girl started to smile. “Then I have no reason to hold back.”
Liana smiled, too. “I was thinking the same thing. So what do you say we start playin' for keeps?”

Reya had only just moved to change her stance when she heard a voice calling in their direction. "Revi, having a bit of trouble with a young one?"

The Sith turned her head to see Sylvius Litington fighting his way towards them. Time froze as she looked upon his face, and instantly she was transported back into her memories. Khaan Sevanar insisting he would be fine on his mission and that she didn't need to accompany him; being informed that he had been murdered by Litington; standing in the front row at the funeral, her hands balled into fists at her sides as she struggled to accept what was happening, that he was really dead, angry tears threatening to fall from her eyes. And then all at once time returned, her surroundings came back into focus, she could hear the noises of battle around her.

"It took you long enough to get here, Syl," Liana said.
"I didn't have anything else to do."

Reya's face contorted with rage, but before she could say anything Samantha got there. “You,” she snarled at him. “I will cut you down where you stand.”

She leaped forwards and took a swipe at him
, though he managed to block it and throw her back so that he could regain his balance. She didn't hesitate to continue her attacks, lunging forwards and slashing wildly at him.

“Reya, kill that Jedi wannabe. The Master is mine.” The tone in Samantha’s voice grew to hatred towards the man.

Reya just stared at her. She had to choose. Her new master, or vengeance. Despite the fact that her anger was what held her back from promotion, that it was the very thing that lead her to be Samantha's apprentice rather than her equal, it was still no question at all. She didn't care; Litington was hers.

"No!" she cried in defiance. She thrust an arm in Liana's direction without even looking, sending the woman flying back, screaming curses as she went, then ran towards Sylvius. "He is mine!" She slashed her sabers towards him and moved between the Jedi and her master.

"Reya! You dare defy me!?" she heard the woman scream angrily, but she paid no mind.

"Litington! You killed my master; prepare to die!"

Confusion momentarily took place on the man's face, but he didn't have time to let it last as the girl sent a series of brutal attacks towards him. In the background she heard the frustrated screams of her new master, and it sounded as though Liana was giving her some trouble. She didn't think she would be thankful of the Jedi, but she almost owed her a favour. However, that thought would have to wait for now.

{{Yo Nol'-dawg, this can be the fight with the er, accidental limb malfunction if you wish. I'm cool for it being now or later or whenever, so. Yeeeeah.

    Also, Reya's in for a world of hurt from Samantha later. :x}}

Nelia and Dureena got on the starship leaving for Tonnot, along with all of the other able bodied men, including Sylvius.
"Dureena, stay on the ship," Nelia said just before landing.
    "But... shouldn't I-"
"It's an order," Nelia insisted tonelessly, checking her blasters.
    "A-alright," the girl acquiesced.
"Good - everyone else, come with me!"

Nelia and the other medics went to join the ranks of the soldiers, accompanying them in entering the hanger. She immediately saw Sylvius dash off to get into the fray, and in the distance she could just make out Revi fighting a particularly persistent Sith. The children were there too.

Nelia sent a Force Blast into the Sith making their way toward her and the Rebellion men. This sent most flying back, but only to be replaced by another wave. She began to fire her blasters at them, making her way as quickly as she could to help the children, Revi and Sylvius.

When she managed to get a chance to look over again from the battle she saw that an enemy General was there - Samantha. Suddenly a Sith tried to land a strike on her while she was preoccupied, she turned sharply to see
San'Unda blast him with the Force just in time - the man smiled at her before rushing off the help the Rebellion soldiers. "I owe you!" she called after him, turning back to pay attention to the fight.

It seemed that ahead Sylvius was causing a stir, and when Nelia finally managed to break through it was in time to see Revi thrown back violently by the Sith she'd been fighting. In a split second decision she went after Revi instead; Sylvius could handle himself. "Are you alright!?" she asked the General.
"I've had worse," the General said sharply, clambering
to her feet and grabbing onto her lightfoils.
"Let's go then!" Nelia said, running alongside the General and back into the fight

    {{I'm tired, so Reya gets a terrible case of the Turrtz.}}

    ---

"Litington! You killed my master; prepare to die!"

Sylvius raised an eyebrow when the young girl charged him, but he had no time to ponder the reason for her switching targets to attack him as he stepped in and out of her slashes and stabs.

"I hope you have no wishes to die, young lady; I'm afraid I don't kill women," he taunted, grinning.

The Sith apprentice grew angrier and screamed at him, slashing harder and faster. "Shut your mouth you motherfucker!"

She brought her left blade down and Sylvius stepped out of its way, keeping his eyes locked on hers. It was easy to see where she would attack, as her eyes predicted her movements. She lunged, and Sylvius stepped again to the side, and then into a range that was too close for her to reach him with her sabers. He grinned even wider as she tried to kick him away, stepping out of her range again to speak.

"Now, now, you're far too delicate for words like that."

The apprentice went red in the face, and she quickly gained on Sylvius' footing, setting him off balance for only a second. She followed this with a slash that nearly cleaved Sylvius in half but instead left him with a minor gash. Sylvius winced and she took advantage of his hesitation to settle in with a series of fast and vicious attacks that Sylvius had a bit of trouble stepping in and out of.

The apprentice faked a slash at Sylvius' left side, and he would have stepped into his death if he hadn't drawn one of his blades to block her right attack. The two broke apart and Sylvius twirled the lightsaber in his hand, chewing on the inside of his lip.

    "This is unnecessary, you know."
    "Afraid to die, Jedi?"
"Afraid I might live," he said with his familiar grin, looking behind the Sith apprentice to see a squad of Republican soldiers loading a group of children onto a transport ship. He withdrew his lightsaber and said, "So sorry to cut this short, little lady, but I'm needed elsewhere."

As one final insult, Sylvius dashed past the Sith, dodging another attack and then escaping into a crowd while she pursued him.

Sylvius cut down the squad fairly easily just as San'Unda appeared from the chaos of battle. He offered to take the children to safety, and Sylvius nodded.

"Careful, Sylvius," The General said, grimly. Sylvius saw something in his friend's eyes that told him something harsh was about to take place, and the Sith Apprentice stepped out from the crowd with her blades drawn.

    "Litington!," she screamed.

Sylvius frowned, seeing no way out of the conflict, and drew his lightsaber again. "You got a name, Sith?"
The apprentice told him to fuck himself, and Sylvius sighed.
"I suppose we should get this under way, then?"

The apprentice charged him and he prepared himself for another of her explosive series of attacks. Sylvius blocked them and kicked her away when he saw a hole in her attacks, following with a concentrated force blast to her gut to wind her. Sylvius ran to her side while she was doubled over and sent a fist to the side of her neck, missing as he went for a sweep kick. Sylvius landed on his back and tried his best to block her attacks from the ground.

Each hit inched closer to Sylvius' face and chest, and he did his best to charge a Maelstrom while defending himself. He was obviously outclassed with the apprentice, and broke into a sweat while she wailed on him. One slash pressed heat against Sylvius' cheek, and he released the Maelstrom, blasting the apprentice away while he climbed to his feet.

The attack tired him, and he struggled to stay on his feet as he watched the Sith charge him once more. She began to attack before she was even in range, and Sylvius took advantage of this small mistake by stepping into her range and knocking a shoulder into her throat, sending her just a few feet back.

Sylvius brought his lightsaber upward and slashed a deep cut into the girl's shoulder, causing her to lose control of that arm and curse loudly. Her lightsaber flew out of her hand in mid-attack, and fell toward Sylvius' right knee. He attempted to step away, but his momentum was forward and the lightsaber met his knee, nearly dismembering him. The two fell to the cold cement ground of the hangar, clutching their wounds, and San'Unda made to drag Sylvius away.

Blood escaped rapidly from Sylvius' wound, an artery being severed and a thick bone being ruined, and he began to lose consciousness. Sylvius blacked out amidst the laser fire while San'Unda called for a medic, nearly begging his friend to stay awake.

After Nelia helped her to her feet, the two women darted toward Sylvius and the combating Sith. They met with San’Unda and he halted Revi mid-stride. The women turned to him with a furious expression. The Jedi, of course, was ever calm.

“We need your help rescuing the younglings, Sylvius can handle himself,” the General urged.
“I don’t give a damn about Syl,” Revi snapped. “That little brat pissed me off and I’m going to give her a piece of—”
“Do not let your anger get the better of you,” San’Unda interrupted. “We have a job to do.”
“Spare me the Jedi crap, San, that kid is mine.”

She shoved him off and darted back toward the fight. However, it appeared she was too late. The girl’s lightsaber had sliced through his leg, apparently dismembering him. However, it wasn’t without effort, as it appeared she, too, had been injured.

Before the girl even had time to gather her thoats, Revi was at her with a fury of attacks. With only one lightsaber to fight back with, coupled with her deep shoulder wound, Revi had an extreme advantage. Between her anger and the notion that Sylvius might well be dead, Revi didn’t care enough to hold back. The girl gritted her teeth and at a moment of distraction, Revi spun and kicked her in the gut, sending her flying back. However when she dashed toward her to deliver the deadly blow, she was stopped by another lightsaber.

Samantha had stepped between them and pushed Revi back. The girl was in her feet again and Revi would have gladly killed the both of them, but they retreated it at the sight of even more Rebels. Revi ran after them with the intent to kill them, but was called by San’Unda.

She paused to look back, seeing him hovering over Sylvius with frantic eyes. She clenched her jaw, taking one last look at the fleeing Sith before turning and rushing over to Sylvius’ side. Nelia was already there, trying to stop the bleeding. Revi unsheathed one of her lightfoils and Nelia’s eyes widened.

    “What are you doing?”
“Cauterizing the wound,” the General replied simply. After flicking the lightfoil to the correct setting, she went about doing so. Sylvius groaned loudly in pain, only half conscious.

After the last of the Sith fled, they focussed all of their efforts on the injured. Sylvius was taken aboard a medical station where his leg had to be amputated. Revi watched, arms folded across her chest, as the droids working on him, the unconscious Jedi unstirring in his slumber. San’Unda stood next to her, gazing with a blank expression.

“You disobeyed orders, Revi,” the Tusken said quietly. “The younglings were our responsibility.”
“I don’t take orders,” the woman replied calmly.
“The child was felled. You didn’t need to go after her.”
“I didn’t do it because I felt I had to. I did it because she had to coming.”
“You are beginning to sound like a Sith,” the Jedi commented.
Revi smiled slightly. “Then thank the Force that I wasn’t born sensitive to it.”

Ai seemed a little uncomfortable by the back and forth between Generals. Anyone would guess they disapproved of each other, but truth be told, they had an exchange like this every now and again. San’Unda would try in vain to get the woman to act a little more sensibly, while Revi essentially told him to go **** himself. In reality, they were good friends and had a great deal of respect for one another. They just didn’t see eye to eye all the time and had no issue with letting the other know it.

Revi lowered her arms and went to leave the waiting room as the other General called to her, asking her where she was headed.

“He’s going to need a prosthetic leg when he wakes up,” she replied. “I’m going to start working on it.”

Revi got the exact measurements herself, as she rarely depended on droids for helping her build to fix things. She couldn’t finish the actual limb until they returned to the base where she had he best tools, but she could draw out the schematics in the mean time.

When they arrived at the base, Revi went straight to her workshop to begin constructing on the leg. It took a couple days to complete and Revi hardly left her workshop while building it. She stayed lived off the booze she had stashed in there, waving any of the Rebel soldiers who came to give her updates or reports that she didn’t care to hear. When it was finished, Revi stood back and gazed at it with satisfaction, before lifting it and heading over to the command station where Sylvius was going over reports with San’Unda. She smiled at Ai, who was dozing off to the side, though snapping to attention when the General walked in.

“I hope you like it, it wasn’t easy,” she declared, placing the limb down before him. Sylvius nodded and smiled.
“Thank you…very much, Revi. It appears to be your best work.”
“You say that every time, jackass,” she replied, though smiled appreciatively of the compliment.
“You’ll be ready for combat again soon then, Master?” Ai spoke up.
“Let’s not rush things, young Padawan,” San’Unda advised. “We have to see how this limb works out first.”
“Yes, Master,” Ai said, lowering her head. “Apologies.”
“I believe I will be, Ai. So worry not,” Sylvius spoke up, causing Ai to beam again.
“Well,” Revi sighed, lifting her hands and clasping them in behind her head, “I’ve got a liquor stash I’ve been neglecting. I’ll see you kids later.”
“You don’t smell as if you’ve been neglecting it,” Sylvius commented.
“Don’t make me cut off the other one,” she quipped, before heading to her bedchamber to pass out.
