Bi***uality as a trend

Recently, I've noticed a lot of girls and boys saying that they're bi***ual to fit in, when they're really not.
It's become "cool" to be the person who "swings both ways," so to speak.
Debate the likelihood of this thread growing / dying, or anything really pertaining to it.

Oh, at our school all the girls are like "I'm bisexual" just to get attention, but now it's getting old, I mean, the people who are really bi***ual never got any attention when everyone knew they were, now all of a sudden it's "If you're not bi, you're not cool" It's so stupid, they're all posers

I wouldn't say bi***uality is a trend, but more so an acceptance in bi-curious experimentation.

uh no, it's never been cool for land-whales to be bisexual. it was started by pornography and probably greek mythology or something. the only time it's cool is if it's a woman and she's very attractive.

on top of that, i've only seen this phenomenon online i.e. myspace, which was back in like 05-07.

it is a pretty big trend for girls in my area.
I think they say they are attracted to both but they would never actually do anything with another girl.
If you're a guy and say you're bi in my area, prepare to be slaughtered =/

That actually surprises me. I live in a very close-minded town, people to say the least can be homophobic. Although for someone to like a certain gender is based off of ourselves, unfortunately people think the contrary. It's quite ironic how the human mind is our one device for freedom, and our one destruction that keeps the status quo. Amen to that one!
