    I got expelled from college for a year, got back in and whooped the **** outta it. As and Bs all the way.

    Take a semester off, it helps. Trust me.

    too bad colleges would rather look at SAT/ACT scores and flawless GPA's rather than creativity, ambition, and innovation - common factors amongst the successful.

    ironic the kids with the degrees and great grades will be working under those with average school records. find what you like to do and do it, although with college that can be expensive to switch majors on the fly.

    So according to your location, LEØN, you live in England, where College is free for the majority of people. Chances are you where likely funded by the Government, and you're in a pretty privileged position that most people in other countries don't even have one hope of getting.

    If you don't like that privilege, I'd advise you GTFO and stop wasting Government funding on a brain that obviously can't even grasp the simplest form of intelligence.

    Well i have read damn near ever post on this thread and all i have to say is i agree with alot of the posts...If you arent interested in college id advise you to take a semester off and well work at a fast food place....be a janitor...or hell even a garbage man....then you might decide "hey what the hell was i complaining about being in college..." but for me college was a great experience...you meet people...learn more about whatever major you are pursuing...and also have a GOOD TIME!!!

    Then why are you in college? Are you force to go to college or what?

    It depends on the character of the person,
    (bill gates, mark zuckerberg, larry ellison, michael dell)they are successful b'cos they wanted to do something different and somethng innovative they were devoted for their work.
    Let it be more clear and precise;
    If you're not satisfied of what you're doing
    take a semester off and do things suits you.

    You should do what you enjoy doing, or strive to at least. If the path that gets you there has low points, stick with it. Keep focussed on what you actually want.
    Unfortunately in today's world specialist training is becoming more and more a factor in getting a job! Obviously some fields don't require a university education, but the majority do.
    If yours does..... off you go (:

    I took my Econ mid-term with zero hours of studying. Instead my roomates and I pulled an all-nighter full of Modern Warfare 2 & a 30 pack of miller high life. I got an 86%on the exam. I Love College.
