Unhappy Weight lifting + empty stomach = success?

    Horrible title, I know.

So I wake up @ 5 AM and immediately fry or cook 6 eggs with a protein shake. I recently bought a performance booster (no-xplode) and it's recommended to be taken on a empty stomach (or 3 hours after your last meal), 30 minutes before your workout for maximum affect. Not following this particular instruction will apparently flaw the "effect" noticeably.

This, however, is not possible for me since I have school @ 9 AM.

    My usual schedule:

5:00 AM - Wake up, eat, get ready, etc.

6:00 AM - Head to the gym, usually takes about 40 to 50 minutes

7:00 AM - Weight training, for 45 to 60 minutes.

8:00 AM - Shower, (etc), go to school.

    9:00 AM - School.

So, I really don't have the possibility for the "maximum affect" unless I skip breakfast @ 5:00 AM.

My question: Will working out on an empty stomach give me negative results?

It should be noted that I will be taking a whey protein shake right when I wake up @ 5:30 AM, and take amino-acids (BCAA) both before and after my workout and gainer pro as post-workout.

I'll be eating a well balanced meal at lunch which is (at the very earliest) @ 10:30 AM.

Will this be too long? I really want to get the most out of this product which is apparently very effective (and quite expensive for that matter.)

    Thanks in advance!
But when you're out there partying, horsing around, someone out there at the same time is working hard.

Too burned out in the evening, can't prestige as well, training on the mornings is a great way to start the day off, etc...

Won't be enough. When I hit the gym, I want to be able to prestige, or (personally) I deem that workout pointless. Besides, the gym is crowded during the evening.

I usually have 60 minutes to complete my workout, and when I do weight training, I usually go for about 45 minutes. So time is not exactly an issue.

One hour before I take my pre-workout supplement (no-xplode) in order to achieve a better "effect".

ah cause a few people i know have this other protein shake- but they have it with water instead of milk so that the body absorbs more of the protiens?
yeh with them they have to have it 30 mins before workout for max- effect or so they tell me

    ---
anyway it looks like we have a problem here
idk if you'd get the answers here tho- why not go to those nutrition based websites and ask there? or im sure there are trainers at the gym- im sure they could help you

and lol when i used to go to gym, it was usually at 7 am and damn it used to be packed

Sigh... It's a mixture of ignorance and pseudo-effect. It is a sad fact, but ripped dudes are generally stupid. There are so many myths about body-building it's not even funny.

No, drinking a protein shake with milk does not lessen the amount of proteins that your body adsorbs. In fact, it's the very opposite. Milk contains protein. What it does do is slowing the process of which your body takes to adsorb the proteins. So if a dude drinks a whey protein, he most likely does so because whey protein gets absorbed in a matter of minutes. Drinking milk (which contains casein) slows down the process, thus ruins the whole point.

Besides, having a whey protein (let alone casein) as a pre-workout supplement is a waste of money. It's supposed to be taken after your workout session - not before.

    Anyway...

Everyone says something different, which isn't weird because we're all different. I just want to know the science behind it.

I hate that. Especially if I have to stand in line for equipment. It just doesn't work.

Also, those sites aren't that great really.

What effect are we talking about? Protein shakes don't offer any effect. It isn't a pre-workout supplement. You're probably confusing a protein supplement to a pre-workout supplement.

lol many people that know my family go to the gym so they always start chatting when they see me cause theyre seeing me after idk how many years
(its like how an old family friend would react if she saw you at the market/wherever and shes seeing you after 10 years or something)
Yup, but it isn't by any means free.
ask some a trainer at the gym then, im sure they wont go all "i'll only tell you if you pay me"
