I've been following my scheme for a lil while now, and right now, it appears to work just fine. Besides, I've heard that eating anything carb-ish right after your workout session will **** up the growth hormone process, which apparently goes into rage mode the first hour after your workout. Not too sure about this, though.
@ Angra - don't forget the legs, bro! Captain upperbodies are huge phags.

in a good way. I've done my fair share of weight lifting in my years, people just make everything too complicated. It's a simple answer of yes or no in this case, based on the amount of time you work out should be the indicator to this. Whatever you eat before a work out probably won't make a difference, unless you ate 3 huge cheeseburgers then you'll end up puking. We're talking about breakfast, a light mean in the morning, no signification affection whatsoever.
