Hello there. I assume the racist [lots of *] to be me, I remember when this happened. I should explain: I started getting cloned about a year ago, maybe less, and he's gotten pretty good. It's always the same: come in, insult a mod's mom, call someone a C-word or N-word and immediately leave so he's not on the list. I don't really care whether you believe me, and I assume you don't, but I just felt like I should explain that, as much as I enjoy using the N-word which is a lot (in a non-racial way), it would be pretty stupid to use it repeatedly towards someone with the power to ban me.

Also Abriel try to control the butthurt. It's funny how you can call people whatever you feel like, which seems to happen in a monthly cycle, yet no one else can.

Christ... this thread has gone off course, guys.

We should be discussing about our arguments for keeping/discarding Flashchat, not bashing other mods, admins and the regular users. Bitching will only get us nowhere.

Now in an attempt to put this discussion back on-topic, I just wanted to say that Flashchat is an inconvenient platform, for both the end user and the C/A staff; in addition to the unfamiliarity of the platform, I feel that there are a lot of users that might abuse certain functions on Flashchat, that in turn may hamper with the enjoyable experience of the end user that is intended.
'Our' job is to make Chat Avenue an enjoyable experience, not make it a breeding ground for jobless degenerates and trolls... And Flashchat simply isn't helping.

First off, although I know this is a thread about digi or flash chats, I had to comment. The difference between chat rooms is that all the stories and instances are conveyed differently by everyone who was in there. With forums, people get relayed second-hand information and no one can really say that's how it all went down.

... And now that there are mods... Some of them do absolutely nothing. I agree, warnings should be given, but I do not tolerate racism. But all the chatters and I had to suffer through three warnings of otherwise inaction sent through PM. No one knew he was being warned. Thus, the mods look pointless.

My take on flash chat is to at least put back vgc to digi. That way, the 5 year regs can stay in there instead of posting irrelevant stuff on forums or trolling other chats.

All of what i am saying about the mods within the new Flash platform is relevant because it has different moderation tools... Like the fact that the MUTE was "broken" or maybe still is. These tools force new moderation styles and mannerisms that may feel new to the mods. They May seem a little hesitant to do things, afraid of repercussions. Funny how When i bring up good points, they are talked away as irrelevant. And The Grape thing was funny. Because Rape, while not necessarily a GOOD topic, isn't necessarily a WRONG topic. Calling people N*ggers and Ch*nks and Sp*cs Is in no way shape or form right. your argument there holds about as much logic as a bottomless box. Sorry. Moving on, from James' attempt...



Flash has grown on me considerably... i can't stress enough that it needs more time to be Fine tuned. i seem to like it.
