    Well, by your and everyone elses responses in the thread it sure seems like that's how it's coming across.
    Are you planning on living here with a student visa? Coming as a skilled worker specific to the province you plan on staying in? By marriage?
    The longest you're legally allowed to stay just visitting is 6 months. And take it from someone with experience in the matter, if customs, at any point, feels like you're gonna over-stay your welcome, and don't have enough ties drawing you back to your own home, they're just gonna straight up tell you no, and you won't even get into the country. If you try to come in without a return ticket, or if they feel your trip is too long to where you can't support yourself, they'll also just say no.
    I dealt with American customs. Maybe they're more ****ish than the Canadian customs, but that's how I was treated.
    Edit: Just read that you're planning on doing it after a second year of college so you're probably planning on going the student visa route so disregard most of this.
