The 1,000 Greatest Films (GRRRREAT LIST)

I've seen other peoples' movie lists before, and they were all full of titles that sounded like they sucked. EVERY SINGLE title in this list sounds watchable. It's like... a twenty-fold extension of Sight & Sound's list. I think it's JUST AWESOME, so check it out now.

I agree with the placing of most of the movies (most of the ones I've seen anyway - I haven't seen that many foreign and European films), but The Wild Bunch at #48? I've only seen it once, but I thought it was a violent mess.

I'm also glad to see North by Northwest #57. Some people have told me that they didn't really like it and thought that it was boring and dull, but I know better.

And I was supposed to watch The Man with a Camera (#97), but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I saw the first ten minutes of it and had no idea of what was going on. :/
