Should voluntary euthanasia(assisted suicide)be legalized?

Euthanasia makes more sense being legal than abortion does and shouldn't even be compared to each other. One is a person ending their own lives and the other is someone murdering someone else.

okay it makes more sense to you-why? what gives someone the right to take their own lives, but not their own seed? as that other guy pointed out, 'murder' is a slippery term, and since some killings are morally justifiable, not all killings can be labelled murder. infantcide is an ancient, universal practice. now all of the sudden it's wrong?

i suppose if you're going to go on with "but its murder" and do some stupid circular argument about how the means dont justify the end and vice versa then go back to moral authority with no clear definition then ill just head out now.

Under what cir***stances is the killing an unborn child "morally justified"? How is it even possible to compare two complete opposites to each other?

If the mother is in danger of losing her life if she tries to give birth, that seems morally justified. Another scenario if the chance of survival for the newborn is abysmally low.

Wow. I wish I was smart and college-educated like all you guys. Could someone please remind me why suicide is wrong? That is, a perfectly healthy and normal person taking their own life, as distinguished from a person who is terminally ill or in pain? :/
