One of the fascinating things about Great Writers, Poets and Prose-Masters is the diversity of their beginnings. One never knows from where the next Great work whether in written or painted form will come from. I encourage all of those that have that artistic burning within to never give up. There's doubtful never been any great talent who got through their humble beginnings without enduring some ridicule and criticism. In fact those that are closest to you can be the cruelest. I appreciate any talent. I view art as a projection of someone's entire emotional range. Art speaks to all, and I agree, keep at it, no matter what you are told. I chose poetry because unlike a painting, it is easy to understand. Not saying that some poems are not deeper than comprehension, but rather that poems are easier to digest. Kudos to all the artists. Thanks! though, i honestly don't consirer myself a writer! i'm actually studying finances, nothing to do with it.
But, there was a moment in my life i felt horribly bad, low, hopeless and ****, i started writing some, and just doing it helped me; i don't write anymore.
