Uploading a CV to some websites are restricted to .doc, .rtf and .pdf only.
Mine is docx - is there any way to change it?

So sorry for being a tech thicko.

When you're saving, click save as and then click new document should put it in the correct or click more formats and manually select the format you need on the drop down bar under the part that allows you to save the file name.

o no, my bad I never explained properly. It was already saved as docx as it's from the dongle. Can it be changed after it's been saved? Is what I mean. Sorry for confusion.

Yeah.

Open the file > word options > save > choose Word97-2003 (.doc) and click okay.

Edit: You may need the compatibility pack to save as .doc, not sure.
