I generally watch the opening event because there's normally a pretty decent show and then I only watch it for a few minutes at a time when flipping through channels. I just don't care enough about any of the events.
USA normally win a lot of medals, for sure. But this is your worst 'track and field' squad for years and years according to Michael Johnson. He is an absolute legend.
I enjoy the track and field, the swimming, cycling, and one or 2 others.
Can't stand stuff like synchronised swimming, diving, equestrian, etc.

The U.S. basketball team just got done beating the Dominican Republic down like red headed step children in an exhibition game.
As far as the olympics goes for me, the free Coca Cola glass with "london 2012" on it that I got with my large mcdonalds meal, thats it.
