I would imagine it is not as no personal information is being asked for (credit cards, bank information, SSID, etc etc). I may be wrong and they may have the encryption enabled, I think only CM would be able to answer this.

Just to be safe, NEVER give someone your personal information over the chat.

The logins are encrypted to prevent people from gaining access to admin/mod accounts, that's totally separate from the message encryption module.

and like I said, i only know the login is encrypted for flashchat. xD

digichat messages were NOT encrypted...nor are password change requests...that are in fact broadcast publicly in plain text
