    You can't just say "well, duh! I don't feel like it's a choice!" That's a ridiculous statement.
Wasn't that the question though? If it was a choice? I understand its more complex than that, but seeing as others went deep into it, I just went short and simple. Although I reason genetic and enviromental impacts may have something to do with it, I don't really have the resources to research it at my disposal, atm anyway.

i posted it two pages back o_O was too lazy to give a reference page to go with the in-text citations, mostly bc i posted like 16 references for one paragraph bc rufus was being a douche. one of the easiest ways to understand if something is environmental or genetic is to do twin studies, especially those who were not raised together. there is a correlation that if you are gay and have a twin, they are more apt to be gay also, even when raised separately, which rules out environment(similar correlations are seen between adopted children's intelligence and their biological parents intelligence). though as i said, not all gays with a twin have a gay twin, implying other factors at work, which is why studies are currently being done to see how much of it is actually genetic. also, if you have older brothers, your likelihood of being gay goes up. bizarre, right? that does not mean there is a 'gay gene', rather it's more probable that there are genes that influence sexuality under the right(but uncommon) circumstances, in both humans and animals.

Figuring this out through scientific study and psychological and neurological means is the only way of figuring this out... Oh and genetic. In the meanwhile you people can make posts of your opinions that might or might not make a difference in understanding facts compared to what you think.
