    http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/

    This is to see if you need to go to Accident and Emergency or going to your doctors the ppl who are there to help you are qualifeid healthcare proffesionals and will offer first class advice.

    I am not sure what the situations with something like this in other countries are maybe someone could post or pm and let us know

    Samantha had to ring them the last week 'cause I kept having panic attacks but I didn't want to go to hospital, but they sent an ambulance anyway. >.>

    Anyways, back on topic. That's useful information to know, Weet. >.<;

    well we have 911.....thats 24/7 around the clock and it's for everything....ambulance, fires, police etc etc

    and then we have poison control which i believe is also 24 hrs....but thats only for consumption of stuff that is not to be consumed

    i dont think we have an ailment thing per se....but we have 24 hour hospitals so thats good enough i guess

    I used to have panic attacks hun wouldnt wish them on my worste enenmy still do occaisonally the best thing i thought was sitting resting my head on my knees and taking deep breaths also if your body shakes at the same time - Going stiff to try and stop it tends to make it worse youy get more tense and that hun but i hope ur gettin over it

    Luckily I've never had to use it, but we have phoned them about my nephew once and they were really helpful. Although I've nearly ended up at the Walk In centre a few times when I have been bad with my chest.

    I remember posting here when my finger wouldn't stop bleeding when I sliced it open. But that was ages ago. And knowing me I was probably drunk. Not that I make a habit of playing with scalpels when drunk, mind.

    But I'm being fair to Weet here, I was wondering "should I go to A&E (then leave note for parents who would come back, get all in a panic about a cut etc etc) " which was what I was posting about more than anything. But I didn't think of looking online. But that was a long time ago. And not sure what they would have done online anyway, but there you go

    It was quite impressive. (The cut, and the fact that I made no typos - especially since it was my right index finger which still has a scar)

    I think all my post accompished was making some emos all jealous because my cut was deeper than theirs...heh
