if you mean abused as in gay bashed in everyday life or at school then this thread is very appropriate for this forum. but if you mean if being abused as a child has 'made' someone gay then it shouldnt be opened...but clarify what ya mean.

what i have bolded is what i thought he meant in this post. i read very well and that post of his or hers stumped me because i had no idea in what way they were specifying the term "abuse".

I have an uncle who is openly gay in ireland and he gets lots of stick from people and family when ime with them they call him things like aunty instead of uncle and ****** and you no i would hate to imagine how he feels sometimes i am gay my self but nt out thats the reason i will never come out its more trouble than its worth.

I believe Gay abuse "bashing or Bullying" is a very serious discussion...

It does happen , and it happened to me 11 years ago ...

Growing up at school everybody knew I was gay not that I openly discussed it but my mannerism my attitude , my way of life, so everybody was cool about it. I mean I usesd to get the odd Idiot that was a Homophobe or just an Idiot calling me Names, but I grew up to Ignore it ...

In 1995 I was In a shoppng centre ,, doing my business doing my Christmas Shopping.. when I got to my car I was faced by 5 guys that Bashed and terrorised me for over half an hour, I was by myself near my car, I was bashed bruised , and put in hospital...

I thought It was a Christmas , Robbery Thing , but On my car they Engraved Gay is a Sin ....(In Worse words)

So it does Happen....

And as For haters I say... I fear nothing anymore...
