Thoughts?
I bought a magazine yesterday, called Gay Times.
No it's not a porno, it's just a magazine that talks about recent events reflecting the gay lifestyle and interviews etc.
Anyways, there was a story from a guy who professed his love for the male fluid. And to go into really graphic detail, was disgusting. I let my friend have a look at it to see what her thoughts on it were, and she was absolutely sickened.
Now, she doesn't have a problem with gays, but what she did say was that, gays like that, who go around saying ''I've swallowed so much cum, that there's a river of it in my body'' ((the guy in the magazine said that)), she thinks that it's gays like him who go around getting beaten up, and gays like that who don't deserve to have the same rights as straight people, because of the way they flaunt it, and profess things in such vulgar manner. He went into such other details about stuff, that I won't mention.
I agree with that.
Nobody deserves to be beaten up, that's not what I'm saying. But I do agree that the gay people who flaunt their sexuality, are the ones looking for trouble.
Also, I find it unacceptable, as that magazine is for 16+ and like, not many young gay people want to hear such filth.
So, I ask.. if you'd read an article such as the one I stated, or heard a friend talking like that whether it related to gay or straight sex, how would you react?
Oh.. posted it in Gay Forum, since the topic originated in a Gay Times Magazine.

I agree that it is that type of person and that type of article that encourages homophobism. A vast majority of straight people would not have a problem with homosexuals if they weren't confronted with that sort of thing, if a straight female openly expresses her sexuality and brags about how much semen she has swallowed she would be labelled a **** and get ostracised by many people, yet this doesn't happen when it is a gay male doing it, why not? This is the reason that there is so much ill-feeling around, some gay people feel it is their right to speak about their experiences in this way whether people want to hear ir or not. This is only a minority of homosexuals but unfortunately the minority are louder than the majority, the only way this can be fixed is if the majority of gays who just want to live a normal life and not force their sexuality on other people actively shun the minority.

What he said is probably enuff to turn anyone off. I agree it's disgusting and it's not something I'd wanna read, and a lot of other people prolly wouldn't wanna either.
And it being 16+ is a bit much too. Maybe they should think about these things, but eh they don't care they get money for it, so they don't give a rats arse.

I believe the whole article as you speak of it, is very disturbing and so not needed.. It is a 16+ Magazine as you state, and alot of young teens would be reading this filth. Even though I don't see alot of Non Gay people buying this magazine, even then as a Gay person I would not like to be reading about this, It is very vulgar , and uncalled for( I for One would be complaining to the Editor for it's Content of the article).. I am really shocked the Editor In Chief let an Article like that in a Magazine that is not sealed..
I don't believe this is really about flaunting their Lifestyle but a Sick and unjustified article and being unfair to the Gays that are not into this Type act..
It is one thing swinging a Prada bag over ones shoulder , but this is to Much...

@ Prada Handbag.
I do believe it relates to flaunting, after all, he was bragging about his sex life, and what he loves, wasn't he?
Fair enough, that's his business.. but it should'nt have been in a magazine, ffs!!

Nobody is forced to read the article. I'm not interested in it myself but freedom of speech overrides taste sometimes.

True nobody is forced to read, but surely you'd agree that it's a bit too explicit for a magazine that's sold to 16+

May b to ecplicit for a magazine of this nature and although i agree that a lot of bad taste here.
Now me wonders how many 16yr olds know about and talk about this thing every day and even 17yrs and 18yrs we cud go on but 16yrs are leagally allowed to give thier consent both str8 and gay is that wrong...... in other words was lowering the age of consent for a gay pearson really that wise seeing that they could look at this sorta thing altho much unger see this kinda filth and talk about it, MY POINT being is no matter how old the magizine is aimed at all ages will see it no matter what if they want to .
SO is the magazine to explicit for that age i would say in my opinion yes but others would say different ....is lowering the age of gay consent to 16 and so letting them into a world of alsorts leagally to some is wrong and some not.
We are not goin to be able to control this situation age will not stop anyone doin anything ie .underage *** ......... drinking.........smoking..etc its all outta controll in my opinion but hey who am i to judge ???
