Why is it that when you work with a remote control, and it's out of range...the minute you put it next to your head, then it works all of a sudden?
Also, if you've left your remote control at your friend's house...you can phone your friend, and your friend can hold the remote control close to the mouth-piece, and then press the button and then it will open up your car door/garage door or whatever...(only works in some cases)

I think the head thing is a coincidence though.
Holding it up higher in general or another position gives it better service, like a cell phone.

the phone thing works occassionally (depending on what sort of remote you have)...but the head thing works like 99%...I'm thinking it's to do with your brain waves or something...

It might have something to do with electromagnetic energy generated by your body.
Like when your radio sounds great ... until you let go of the antenna.
