Chart of Robert Wadlow's Growth:
5yrs of age-------5'4"
10yrs of age------6'5"
12yrs of age------6'10"
14yrs of age------7'4"
18yrs of age------8'8.3"
22yrs of age------8'11.1"
This means, on average, Wadlow grew 3" per year. To put it into a better perspective, had he never died in 1940 and was still alive today and that his growth never ceased, the "Alton Giant" would stand in the neighborhood of 35' in height; also take into account that Wadlow was 490 pounds, meaning that on average he gained roughly 20 pounds every year, making him a staggering 1,830 pounds had he lived to this day. That's almost 5 Shaquille O'Neal's in height and 430 pounds MORE than the heaviest man that ever lived.
Prior to death Wadlow wore a size 40AA shoe, at death (according to his official biography) had size 44.5AA shoes made for his funeral, verifying that it is quite possible
in the 18 days after his last official measurement (when he died), that Wadlow surpassed or met the nine foot mark. His brother claims that he was 9' at death, but since the casket is under several feet of concrete (as was Wadlow's request) it can never be supported.
In Lenoid Stadnik's case, if his remarkable growth started at age 14 and he is now 8'5.5" in height, that could only mean that Standik has grown 2.5" per year in the last 22 years, which is virtually similar to the extreme growth rate of Wadlow's. This means, in just two years he will more than match Wadlow's height and the following year after those two, Stadnik should measure a remarkable 9'2".*
*That is roughly 4.5" shorter than the Biblical giant Goliath of Gath from The Second Book of Samuel
