When you were growing up...
When you were growing up, where there any places that you could go to for help? Like support, or social hang outs for LGBT youth? 
I mean I am involved in a group here in Milwaukee called Project Q, which serves ages 24 and under. I am 18 now, and when I was younger it really cam in handy, and was a lot of fun..
Just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences.

Umm, if I ever attended a GLBT Pride Parade, I might know the answer to that question...
Although, Minneapolis has a pretty big gay community. I'm pretty sure it ranks top 5 in the nation.

haha.. Well just asking since there is a great thing called Project Q here in Milwaukee.
I guess be being 18 and so "young" compared to the other people here makes me somewhat of a n00b.

I use to actually live at the local community centre, they provided councelling there for teenagers and kids under the age of 20 with all sorts of troubles, I use to be teased by fellow peers about being bisexual, however the help I got from the community centre and being with people of the same sexuality helped me feel more confident in myself about expressing my sexuality.
