Genuine Nice Guys

I've been coming to Chat Avenue (particular the Gay Chat) section for... quite some time. And, despite the cybering... the proposals for camming... the borderline pedophilism inquiries... and the illiteracy of the whole scheme... I just want to commend the few nice guys that come here.

More than a one night stand, I come here for friendship. If i wanted to touch myself, the internet provides better services than a seemingly scripted conversation about how you want to go down on my erect penis. At the risk of generalizing, finding s e x can be easy (if your standards are low enough) but its finding someone who can carry out a decent conversation, that is hard.

There are few, and they are far in between. But, when you do find one... It's a breath of fresh air. I say this in particular to one conceited 20-something year old who goes to UCLA--who's intellect surpassed mine, and constantly reminded me. (Going off on a tangeant--to Mr. Fibonacci If we don't talk again...and you read this... I want you to know that I think your a loser lol)

To all the nice guys, I say thank you for coming here...and perhaps in a utopia we can all reclaim the chat room for what it was meant, for talking... rather than "getting off" (in the crudest sense of the word). Until that time, lets just stick it out (no pun intended).

I modded the room for a year and I don't remember you or this Mr. Fibonacci.

There can be many nice guys and girls to talk to in the room if you are looking for friends.

I also modded Gay Chat, and like Roomie do not recall ur name, maybe u logged in using a different name to the one used in ur post, but, there are plenty of ppl who are more than willing to chat, than just looking for s e x, but try not to ask anyone who is modding the room, as their main job is modding.

thats one of the reasons i hated modding for hours at a time, if you go too long just looking at sad sad individuals who want to cyber cause theyre fat and ugly and cant have secks irl...you get a little crazy.

the few people i found who are really great for conversation i still talk to.

i have met so many great people(truly nice)in chat
and then i came in forums ignorant to its ways
there was always someone to help me out
when i feel blue from time to time forums always cheers me up!
im so happy i decided to get my computer
my daughter said when i got it mom there is nothing but losers in chat rooms.
well im here to say shes wrong .yes there are some who get carried away and need to get over themselves
but the good ones way make up for it!
