not a choice its natural. why would ppl pick to be gay or lez and treated like sh/it if theycan avoid it.there are many gay and lez here in c/a who are cool and fun to talk to

Addressing the question ... I can't speak for every gay person, but I certainly didn't "choose" to like guys. Life would be a whole lot easier if I was attracted to women.

And since this question has been answered here at least two dozen times, the onus is really on the author of this thread to explain why he still can't accept the obvious answer.

Or maybe, just maybe, realizing that who you are attracted to isn't a choice eradicates whatever little justification for hatred some people might have.

There was a study done at UCLA [I believe, I'm not 100% sure] but it was study of 250 participants who were pregnant during WWII. They concluded that women pregnant during the war experienced stress and during that stress hormones entered the fetus, obviously estrogen thus making it likely for the baby to be born gay.

But I definitely don't think it's a choice.

Edit: Although a lot of people claim to be bisexual now, but that seems more like a trend, which would be a choice.

It's not a choice it's something you are born with. I am attracted to both guys and girls, I'm not making some choice to be bi.

It can go either way I suppose. You can, although probably not the most healthiest decision, force yourself to like the same ***. Nurture also can play a major role, and have an unconscious effect. As we ARE part of nature (and are wearing clothes for that matter) and if a species in nature does it, it automatically is defined as natural. So what want to know is if it's Hereditary? I suppose information such as what *** to hump can be stored in your DNA. Either way homosexuality is natural in a sense in that it's harmless, UNLESS repressed. I feel like these kind of questions just isolates people and makes them feel a wrong sense of shame. So in the end it doesn't really matter as long as we except our sexuality, no matter what sexuality it may be or how it became, and just move along.

Yeh well i think we are born with the fact that we will be watever, some ppl cannot get the fact they are gay untill later on in life.Some hide the fact why ? i dunno apart they are worried about what might be said of them.
