Lag In Chat Rooms!!

I want to know why we always have lag in the chat rooms now? Specifically Adults! Every time there was an "upgrade" to the rooms the lag progressively and increasingly became worse. Why isnt anything being done to sort it out? Heaps of regs stopped coming because of it. Has anyone complained about it?

If you frequent Adults and get constant lag that does your fkn head in and youre sick of it add your name!!

I believe this has already been asked and answered.

Maybe not specifically for Adults, but there has been lag in all the rooms.

It's because of the holidays mostly, and the server can't handle as many users as it wants.

No, seriously, this has been an ongoing issue in Adults as all regs will know. Its ridiculous. We alllll know its "the server cant handle it". One would think it would get sorted after months and months.
The question is will it?

since this really is a question of maintenance of the rooms.. it should probably go into SGF forum or tech.. so that way people from all the rooms can respond about what its like in their respective rooms, since kids and some of the teens cant post in here, so would save threads being opened all over the place about the same subject..

lag is bad yeah.. dont know whats getting done.. only person who knows that is CM.. ask him

it isnt just adults its all the rooms,and yes the powers that be do know about it,and u being an ex mod should know it takes them for ever to move their butt's to sort anything,but they r informed everytime time theres a problem.should also know that being an ex mod too

I didnt just say it was just Adults, I said SPECIFICALLY Adults! Yes I am aware that mods report lag (spasmodically) but Im also aware (being an ex mod and all) that obviously its not doing anything. I thought that perhaps instead if EVERYONE got together as a united front and complained as one voice instead, that something proactive and productive might be done about it.

Going by the mods blase response its little wonder everything takes them forever. If it looks like you dont care, why would anyone else?

well simmer if you wanted a unified response then why post it in adults ? the name of your thread is LAG IN CHAT ROOMS!!!!! which covers all rooms not just adults...there is already a thread in tech forums about the lag.. not everyone can post in here.. so again would be better put in a forum that everyone can post in it .. correct ?

and as for mods being blase about it.. lag is being reported everyday by the mods.. what more shall we do.. crack a whip on the monkeys so they push the pedals faster ???? or how about we put a limit on how many times a person can cyber in one day ???

oh we do care thats why a handful of us sit in room and wait the lag out.if we didnt care we'd do what some regs do and log out and not come back.opening threads everywhere about it doesnt help either,as there have been more threads opened about it previous to urs.it takes time to find a decentserverto cope with the volume of chatters in chat ave,opening a thread asking ppl to add their names wont make them move any faster,also if half the twats didnt use all their fancy programmes in the room would help alot aswell.

I was talking specifically adults Nikko (Im pretty sure I mentioned that initially, I should of been specific in the title I guess.) and if any of the chat regs that venture into forums are like me they wouldnt even bother with Tech Support.

Your responses are blase. This one had a little more passion in it though. As a former mod, Ive seen the report. I think it went something like "lag in room blah blah time". Yeah I see the emphasis in wanting to get things fixed on that.

Perhaps instead of cybering mods should encourage participants to do phone instead.

How does sitting in a room for an hr that doesnt do anything show dedication or help? All that shows is you can sit and stare at something forever. That and patience (or stupidity).

If mods are the voice of chat, look out ppl!

The annoying thing is you cant form a strike on chat! Perhaps if no one showed up in the chat room for 24hrs things might progress quicker.

CM people are leaving chat because of lag. When will anything be done about it?
