Wine and food!

Tell me your opinion on what kinds of wines you like drink and what kinds of foods you think they go with perfectly.

For example............. I think a Shablis desert wine would go good with either a Chocolate mousse or a Strawberry cheesecake.

Chardonnay.

Or any other white wine, because I hate red wine.

Was in Frankie and Benny's the other night for dinner and had that with a chicken starter thing. Then went and stuffed a big fat 15" pizza in my face along with fries, accompanied by another full glass of white wine.

Any food goes with wine, I think. Just depends on the mood.
I do like a curry with wine.

Pinot Grigio goes wonderful with a chicken dish. It is a light white wine with just a bit of dryness to it.

I love the Amercian Reisling "Relax" . It is wonderful with any kind of fruit, veggies or dessert. It is light and slightly sweet. It is a wonderful summer wine to serve.

I like White Zinfandel Rose, it's very fruity and goes well with a Sunday roast,

Even I have had wine.
Not enough to know what I'm talking about though.

My my seems to always get Mark West Pinot Noir or Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Yellow Label Champagne when we go out to our favorite restuarant (got those titles off the website).
