in Trinidad we have a LOT of east indians..my mom is half indian, half spanish..so we eat a lot of curried foods..curried chicken, duck, goat etc..some ppl, even eat curried iguana..ick...theres something called roti..which i can't freakin make..but its a dough in which you place the curried meat with potatoes etc and u wrap it and bite into it like a tortilla or burrito.. we also have local dishes like Callaloo..which is basically a bush u steam down with ochro and other spices to make a thick gravy which you can eat on its own or with plain white rice.. theres Pelau which is a spanish dish of rice mixed with peas and meat cooked altogether in one pot. I should mention that we our island was once owned by the British, Spanish and French so we have a lot of left over culture from that.
We also eat here pigs feet, pig tail, oxtail, cowheel, black puddin (which is basically pigs' intestines) I'll end it there now that Ive sufficiently grossed u all out lol.

Black Pudding ISN'T pig's intestines, at least it's not over here. It's dried pigs blood with spices added. Sounds gross but is nice, especially with a fried English breakfast - not healthy though.
I'm Welsh, and our family specialities tend to be cheap and cheerful. One is called "Chips Dwr" (Water Chips/Fries), which is basically Boiled potatoes with onions and bacon pieces, you serve it with large thick slices of fresh bread. Lovely on a cold day.
In the same vein of this is LobSgows, ("Lob Scouse") which any Liverpudlians on here may recognise (we 'stole' it from them after all), It's a stew with diced beef, swede, potatoes and carrots in.
There's also "Swp Pys" *"Pea Soup") Which doesn't have any peas at all, just Lentils, Potatoes anbd carrots in which you cook and then leave overnight so it becomes mushy, it's served best with Bacon ribs.
Dessert wise you have Bara Brith which is a fruit loaf flavoured with (among other things) cold, black tea.
As we're part of the UK, we also draw on a rich tapestry of foodstuffs. I've already chatted about Black pudding, but had any non brit had mushy peas? Served best with Fish and Chips (Chips are fatter versions of fries).

I was raised on Southern food... fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread, bean soup, and friend green tamatoes. Also, meatloaf, hamburgers, hotdogs, and french fries were another favorite. I dont' eat these foods now, but when I was a kid, these foods were usually served once a week.

sorry i spelt it wrong, its spelt glogg, but pronounced glug...as you can see im not swedish.
2 bottles Cabernet Sauvignon red wine
1 3/4 liters vodka
20 cardamom pods
10 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 piece orange peel
1 1/2 cups blanched whole almonds
1 1/2 cups raisins
10 dried figs
1 lb sugar
1. Pour the wine and vodka into a large pot. Add spices, fruit and nuts. Turn on the heat and bring the ingredients to a temperature just below the boil.
2. Now for the fun part. Invite all of your guests into the kitchen. Place the sugar cubes in a sieve (one that you don't mind sacrificing to the greater good). Don oven mitts and set the glogg on fire. Ladle the burning glogg over the sugar cubes until it has all melted.
3. When the sugar is melted, cover the pot to extinguish the flame. Ladle glogg, fruit and nuts into irish coffee cups and serve.
evil s hit right there^^^^
