Tofu is nasty when not prepared properly. It's not tofu that is the problem, it's the cook not knowing what to do with it
IT'S NOT MEANT TO BE EATEN LIKE THAT - just a plain white flavourless lump.
To use an example - think of chips, fries, waffles, mash - all the things you make with potato - but chomping on a raw spud isn't nice is it?
Try getting some deep-fried tofu from a chinese grocer. It's not something you eat on it's own but rather put into a chinese dish and let it cook in the sauce, soaking up the sauce and all the flavour.

Only problem with that for me is that Quorn contains egg.
Tofu's good if you know what to do with it (Tofu "cheesecake" is to die for).
What on earth else other than tofu can you use to make a mildly spicy scrambled toast-topping (Silken tofu, squash with a potato masher, fry for a couple of minutes in a little sunflower oil on a medium heat with half a teaspoon turmeric and a teaspoon mild soy sauce - or however much turmeric and soy sauce you prefer- , stir in well whilst frying, keep the tofu moving all the time to prevent sticking or burning - a quick alternative to scrambled egg apparently - tastes nothing like egg but still v. nice in it's own right, probably the easiest tasty tofu dish there is), a chewy flavoursome addition to a chinese meal or soup, or a sweet cheesecake?!! It's all about the versatility and what CAN be done with it.
It really annoys me when I go to a bad chinese takeaway and get a bean curd dish which is just white chunks of tofu thrown in for 2 minutes with the beansprouts, when I know just what can be done

Soy products increase aggression and anxiety in males.
This explains the high vagina post count in here.

I Love Tofu Of course prepared like in soups (hot and sour soup is really good with tofu). Fried Tofu is really good too. Tofu can actually be made into desserts too, you just have to know how to use it properly. I think it's great
