Homophobia?
big billboard signs up round here
"GET OVER IT.
SOME PEOPLE ARE GAY."
big huge letters... anti-homophobic bullying in schools etc
i think many people find themselves disliking the actual person, rather than their sexuality.. and then being labeled homophobic
opinions?

Well, it is how the person would present themselves. If the person is gay and acts like a flaming queen and flirts with all the people who are uncomfortable with that type of life style, the I could understand why they are hated or disliked. Now if they act normal and just act like one of the guys and do not act gay just because they are, then that is what people like. Just be cool and everyone will be awsome. If you fake the funk and pretend then people will only see you as someone who wants to be their sexuality then people will not like you because you are over doing it.

i think theres 3 reasons why people are homophobic.
1) they had a bad experience involving a gay person.
2) religious moral values or values you were raised with.
3) the sex makes them uncomfortable.
either way its not hate thats the problem, its lack of information and tolerace.

Openly gay means that you are not afraid of your sexuality and that you are out to everyone. All your friends know, all your family knows, all your co-workers know. It plainly means that they are comfortable with telling people who they really are. I aswell am openly gay to all my friends and family and they still love me for me and they love me more knowing the fact that I was not afraid of telling them who I was. They all love me for being honest about myself and in a way that has helped me love myself more because of the fact that I do not need to hide anything from anyone.

Well, no. Openly gay means that if someone were to come up to me and ask if I was gay, then I would tell them the truth and say yes. I would not just walk up to people and tell "hey guys! Im gay!" That is just ridiculous and if there are people who do that, then they should be ashamed of themselves for being so stupid.
