I'm going to copy all the recipes for potato salad, because all seem to vary slightly, so should be fun to try them all. Will let you know how I get on.

Maybe this forum might just be more interesting than I thought, if we can keep the trivia threads down.

Thanks guys.

Talking easy potatoe salad

one five pound bag of potatoes(any kind) new potatoes work well
1/2cup celery -diced
i/2 cup vidalia onoin (or what you have)- diced
!/2 cup sliced egg
1/2 cup pepper's-diced(green and red)
mayonnaise-and italien salad dressing
par boil the potatoe's till they are a almost cooked through
peel and cube(when cool)
mix all the ingredients except the oil and mayo
then combine the mayo and dressing I use a cup of mayo and 1/2 cup salad
dressing.
pour on an mix add some parsley on top and voila it is done
you can use lo-cal mayo and lo-cal dressing to bring down the calories
this is one of the potato salad's I make in summer
It is my favorite

Yes, talk dirty to it for the best results.
A chat is a small (baby) potato.
Sorry I dont know what the calories are, I will look back on that site and see if it says.

Edit:
I couldnt find the calorie info for this dish.
To make it a little bit healthier, you could use low fat, low cal mayo and lean bacon.

Red face

My mum made this one the other night - I liked it.

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/3 cup chopped celery
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTIONS
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes; cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain, and transfer to a large bowl.
  2. Place eggs in a saucepan, and cover completely with cold water. Bring water to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, and cool. Peel, chop, and add to potatoes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, sugar, seasoned salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder and black pepper; mix well. Blend in mayonnaise. Pour lemon dressing over potatoes, and stir to coat.
  4. Mix in green onions, celery, and parsley. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
