Hi,
For the last little while I have been feeling feeling towards women and men, but it has been stronger towards men ( i think one reason might be because i dont LET myself have feeling towards women). I have no problem with GLBT2SQ a lot of my friends are, but I think thats one thing that makes me wonder even more, beacuse it makes me think that maybe I'm doing it just to fit in. But I believe people are born one way or another, not raised that way......... I'm very confused and would like some help to understand my feelings. Thx. My advice, would be to explore those feelings. Don't worry about what you're friends say or do or think.
If you're attracted to one girl in particular, ask her out, make it obvious that it is for romantic reasons. Let her know you're confused and are trying to explore your options. I think the best way to find out if you like something is to jump in and try it. Trying it doesn't mean that you're bisexual or gay, it just means that you're curious and want to figure it out. Trying it also doesn't necessarily mean that you will find answers or closure, (you may) but chances are that it will confuse you even more. Just go with it, it's okay to not know what you want. Just make sure that you're up front with any dates/partners. Over time, I believe that you'll eventually choose one s e x over the other. It may be apparent right away and it may not.... GOOD LUCK! |

As far as your specific situation is concerned, I would first ask you how old you are. You come across as an adult (or young adult) and if your attractions have always been towards the opposite sex then I think it's safe to say this recent interest in the same sex is probably a combination of curiosity and experimantation. But if you're a younger person who's just coming into your own sexuality, then there might be more to it. Anyway, that's my opinion based on your lone post. I hope it helps in some small way.

We all get confused at times, especially when we meet peeps that captivate us.
Sexuality is not as clear cut as many would have you beleive. Best thing I can say to you, is dont rush with any decisions, whats the rush. Just do not open any doors in the corridor of life at this time, you may regret laters, and may not be able to close.
