i meant the taste- even if i did like eggs i wouldn't not eat them because they came from an animal.

that would be a tad hypocritical, since i eat alot of meat and all.

but yeh...fish eggs?

All kinds of shops sell Caviar and it comes in a tub similar to shoe polish, although this is cheap caviar and should be avoided at all costs, even posh Caviar is disgusting.

So what does one eat it with? I heard you always need to eat it with crackers, but I'm very curious to try it.

A good gourmet shop should have Russian Beluga Caviar which is supposed to be the best and is very very expensive... eat it with diced up hard cooked eggs and crackers and champagne AND use a mother of pearl spoon.. anything BUT metal.. as metal will give the caviar an "off" taste.. Caviar is very salty... personally i cant stand the stuff.. but you might enjoy it..
