Hungry Holidays
What do you eat for the holidays?
(keep it related to the holiday that the time is around, so right now, Easter)
We have Entenmanns for breakfast and get a small honey-baked ham for dinner.
This year we also had pie for breakfast, and are making pierogies and eating artichokes with dinner as well.
Oh, and plenty of candy.

Codfish.
That looks something like this. (but better)
Minus the extra parsley.
And codfish cakes that look like this.
And sweet bread that looks kinda like this.

my family does mannicotti, artichokes, antipasto, beef tenderloins and a spiral ham.
i went to a full out swedish easter with my boyfriends family and had some egg dish, perogies, keilbasa, some cheese spread crap that smelt like feet, whitefish pasties and some weird pasta salads that smelt like fish.
and a buttload of desserts.

For breakfast: hard boiled Easter eggs and some fresh fruit or a kolache. For dinner: honey-glazed ham...sweet potatoes cooked, mashed and with a bit of cinnamon and brown sugar added, then covered in mini-marshmallows and popped under the broiler 'til the marshmallows are a golden brown...and fresh steamed asparagus. Mmm. Then, of course, a piece of candy or two for dessert.
