miserable gheys
i saw that today on post secret.
and i laughed at the comment...but the secret itself actually made me a little sad.
has anyone been or met someone that was unhappy with being gay? not just unhappy with life itself or dating etc...but actually miserable because they wish they didnt have feelings for the same gender?
its hard for me to understand cause it just seems natural to me.

i don't know anyone like that, and i don't understand it either.
if someone is unhappy being homosexual, then, technically...wouldn't they just...not be?
i can understand if they were sad that people looked down upon them for it or something like that, but i don't think i can understand why someone would be sad that they were attracted to the same sex.

I think people feel sad about being attracted to the same gender because society makes them feel guilty about it, hence the Gay Pride countermovement.
Another reason might be the desire to have children, but that isn't as difficult to get around as it might seem when one is young.

I agree with the person above this post. Society, I feel, has made gays feel that who they are is wrong.

i dont think it works that way...you cant really just switch who youre attracted to if youre unhappy...cause then youll just wind up even more unhappy.
i think deep down a lot of people arent happy with who they are and any little thing about them thats different is the 'enemy' part of them and they want it to go away.

shame how gay pride turned out to be more of a joke then anything, but to me its like religion...if it helps you feel better then go for it.
and hopefully with new laws in adoption and foster care the idea of not having children wont stop someone from being themselves.

only if you let it.
american 'society' hated the irish for a very long time, despised all irish immigrants and made them work horrific unsafe jobs.
now st. patricks day is celebrated in every bar in the country. and just about anyone you talk to claims to be part irish.

._. Gay people are sad.
Because well, they're messed up, I'm being serious.
I mean, I don't hate gays but they have serious issues to resolve.
Then, they'll be straight, and be happy.
:'> God bless the church.
