Clams are good. Clam dip is very tasty if made correctly.

i'm not a big clam/mussel/scallop person, but that's just me
they can certainly taste good, but the texture? yuck yuck. i'm sure that if they were mushed up in a dip they'd be okay

I make a quick and yummy clam dip

just use a can of minced clams and the juice
a package of cream cheese
and a touch of worcheshire sauce

It's a yummy late night chip companion
