I saw a documentary on TV last year they said of people surveyed about 40% said they were only with theire gf/bf because of the great s*x but werent really into the relationships otherwise....

Would you mainrain a relationship with somebody just for great s*x?

Is s*x alone enough to base a relationship on?

No, not alone it isn't. But, it is a factor.. you have to have that chemical reaction to the other person.... that 'thing' that draws you to them.....you should be turned on by your partner... but it cant be the ONLY thing! That will not see you through the rough times....as Lisa said you need compassion, care, and love, for your partner to be interested in 'YOU' not just part of you

Not enough to maintain a relationship.

You need to meet the needs of the other person emotionally aswell as physically.

I've had a relationship where sex became the main focus, and I was miserable.
I'll never let myself get into that situation again.

You might aswel not have a relationship at all - a fuck buddy would be alot better for people who're just after great sex.

If you're only with someone for the sex then you are not in a relationship. To be in a relationship there has to be emotions involved as well. If it's just sex then it's just a bit (well actually a lot) of fun.
