friend trouble

i don't know what to do any more. it seems as if all my friends have joined some club that i am just not a part of. i want to help them but when do you let go and let people make mistakes? i am always the one fixing the problems but now i don't want to. i feel like i am letting them down but i am about to turn 30 and want to get a life of my own. i feel like i have wasted enough time already.

Its a bit sad that at nearly 30 you feel the need to worry about other people that arent worrying about themselves. Have a look at your life. How far would you have gotten if you didnt learn from your mistakes? Sometimes you have to let the child near enough to the oven so it can feel the heat you are talking about when you say "Dont touch, its hot."

In that light, Im saying they are too hot. Dont touch. If that answer doesnt help you, nothing will.

you need to let go now, people make there own mistakes and the only way they learn is by fixing them. You cant keep babying people forever you need to live your own life! Don't feel like your letting them down you need to do this for you and if they don't understand then they are not real friends

okay you are saying they are joining clubs and you arent part of.. I assume from the way you are wording it, it isnt good clubs they are joining?Or you are just jealous they are leading their lives differently than what you want?
You need to go on with your own life, and worry about you... you have to let people live their lives the way they want, everyone has to learn from ther mistakes, if they are making one.... people tend to go seperate ways in life and it isnt always easy letting go, but you have to let go... and you have to let people make their own mistakes, i am sure you have made some yourself, and hopefully you learned from them, as they will learn from theirs too....
