I was going to put this in debate, but figured I would do it here first for a while, then take it to debate.

Do people become gay/bisexual by choice, or are you born gay?

I think we are born gay and when we hit puberty or so its when we gays or bisexuals manifest it. I dont think anyone wants to willingly choose to be gay and be bashed in school or in other general places.

What the heck, I voted 'Not sure'.

When i was a little younger i dated girls & had a girlfriend for a while until i was about 15, I'd always had an attraction to males but I'd never embraced it until recently.

I think it's a choice for many Bisexuals because it seems to be a trend and people just becoming Bi-sexual at the click of a finger just to be popular.

It differs i suppose.

I believe its caused by an influx of hormones at a crucial stage in development, while in the uterus.

Thus, being born gay.

Various hormone levels produce a spectrum of gay people.

The main thing that influences sexual attraction is hormones. You can't chose that.

Also if anyone knew how or why anyone was born/made/became gay then chances are they'd also know how to change a person's sexuality.
