How do you feel about the current Gay Scene

First off, the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual forum's haven't any decent threads in a long while, so hopefully some of you think this one is worthwhile.

How do you feel about the current mindset of many gays (mainly the men) that have the gay scene in a sexual rubble. Clubs and chat rooms that are gay-centered are all places where gays get together....to try to hook up.

There is no "hello....how are you, *develop friendship.* It all seems to be "hello...how are you, let's rent a hotel room."

I don't really understand what you're asking.

The 'gay scene' throughout time has always been a little more casual in regards to meeting and having sex. That's nothing new.

The "current mindset" of gays is no different than the way the mindset of straights has been for ages.

As for this forum, it's been a waste for years and people keep pointing it out, but the usual trolls who disguise themselves with colored names love harrassing people in it, so here it stays.

I so agree with ya lol the one thing i notice in the chat room is that its all about *** with a lot of them ,

i say to them "WHAT HAPPENED TO CHAT ITS ALL ABOUT ***" over last year i have noticed that more and more gay ppl or fake ones troll the room looking ta get laid thats all.

More and more pervs from a particular country is on the increase all they ask for is underage and realy disgusting things its gross at times, they obviously get banned and labelles but always get back in.

There are many good chatters that enter the gay chatroom dont get me wrong.

Has for the gay scene in clubs and bars lol I dont really go to many but the ones I have been to again its all about *** they even having several partners in the toilets that night its pretty bad from what I see but hey thats the way it is.

To be honest its the same all over the country and world for str8 and gay and once again i will say not all just go out ta get laid.

I get that it's been the general mindset in the past, but it's still the current mindset also.

And it seems to be prevalent with the gays.

That's not entirely true.
Many people actually want a friendship, true, it's rare though, but let's not be stereotypical about homosexuals, though. It's just like saying 'only gays get AIDS.' - which is wrong.

Where I live, the gay scene is fabulous; it's not rowdy or raunchy. The bar I go to is generally filled with gay men aged 25+ and a few teens such as myself, majority of them on a Saturday night are straight people.
And the club next door is just amazing; dancing and whatnot; people get touchy-feely when they dance with you but not the type to just dance with their hands down your pants.
I understand that not everywhere is the same, and yes, I once thought it was all about clocking off with who you could get- it's great how you learn it's not.

I think just like straight people, some prefer casual sex and others prefer relationships.

Gay chat, bars and clubs are generally where people go to find sex. Those in the gay community who do not share that lifestyle may go as a way to meet new people and feel comfortable.

Wanting to be around other people who are similar in some ways to you is just natural.
