AN investigation has been launched after 25 cars in Hereford were damaged over the Easter weekend.
Police are appealing for witnesses after vehicles in the Whitecross area had their paintwork scratched by vandals.
The parked cars in and around Chandos Street and Scudamore Street had obscenities and other scratches scored in the bodywork overnight overnight between Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11.
Damage caused will run into thousands of pounds.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone in the area who may have seen the damage being caused, saw suspicious activity or just persons hanging around the area.
PC John Westlake from the Three Elms and St Nicholas Local Policing Team said: "To do so many vehicles will have taken some time and we hope that someone saw something. Our team has put leaflets through the letterboxes of houses in the locality to try and identify a witness to this damage.
"We will also being paying close attention to the area."
