Umm I got banned O.o

Ok here's the story :

I was in adult chat (adultchat.net one) and I had the user name cuppy. Someone named ****** was in there flooding like crazy. I was typing something in the chat window when I noticed a couple of yellow bars,which i precieved to be a ***** pervert pmming me. I looked up right before the flooder flooded again and saw one of those fancy decorated nicks. I thought it was my friend ruby,so thanks to the flooder, I had to scroll upwards a couple of frames to see who exactly it was. Turns out it was Shortstuff asking for my age. She had posted twice with simply "age" written on it. Before I could double click it,I got kicked out. I thought it was due to the flooding cause the room to lag and crash. When I logged back in it was I was banned. So how could I have been banned for not answering a mod's pm in 2 seconds IF I couldnt even see the pm due to a flooder?
Also the reason why I didn't post this earlier was the forums took a while to send me the activation link. So how and why ?

u didnt just have the name cuppy ur name was longer than that cant remember what.but it was longer than 2 seconds that i asked u ur age as i was also in another chatters pc asking them to change their name.and there was someone flooding but not that bad that u couldnt reply to me.as i was sitting in adult.net trying to catch this flooder who was doing it in all rooms not just adult net.u dont answer ur age u r removed.

If you were pm'd then you would have been asked at least 3 times what your age was. Mods in adult chat are instructed to remove anyone who doesn't give an age as far too many underage chatters are logging in and lurking there.
