Anti-gay beauty's mother 'is a lesbian'

Controversy continues to swirl around Miss California – who spoke out against gay marriage – after a woman claimed to have been the lesbian lover of the beauty's mother.
Carrie Prejean hit headlines in April after telling Miss USA judge Perez Hilton that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
But now Valerie Vetrano has told a US gossip magazine she went out with Prejean's mother, Francine Coppola. 'Francine and I dated,' claimed Vetrano.
The pair allegedly split up shortly before the contest to avoid offending the 22-year-old beauty queen or other family.
'Francine explained how she was a Christian and that her loved ones would never accept her if she were gay,' Vetrano claimed.
