Banned for saying numbers. ;sigh;
._________________________.;
Oh this is hilarious. Here I am again, going to post to people that probably won't care. Amazing.
I've been banned from the chat several times, and 99% of them were from misunderstandings, some of them was just because a friend and I, in the same house, connected to the same IP, was in the chat room and they thought we were the same people. Some because moderators were just annoyed with me talking to someone, and once (although it feels like many times.) because a moron went to a moderator and lied about me saying something offensive. I mean, come on. The chat rooms are basically losing population, probably because everyone's IPs were banned for a tiny thing, I mean idc if it takes only 24 hours to get unbanned, it's just the idea of it. When I was moderator of the chat (and stripped of my rank because I wasn't online in a while when that was because I was in a frigging Hurricane), I always made sure I didn't ban someone for no reason. I knew that some things were censored that people would think they weren't and accidentally blurt something out, I knew that people would lie.. I actually cared.
I've been going to Chat-Avenue since 2003. While I find this community to be very great, I constantly can't help but notice the ridiculous mistakes that moderators make that force me to go to the Suggestions. I just got a new IP from changing ISPs, and one of the first things I wanted to do was go back to Chat-Avenue because my previous IP was banned from Chat-Avenue, so I guess the person who used the Ip before me was banned there. So, I sign in and some guy comes into the chat avenue with the username "9/11 was hilarious" but the numbers was censored but I read his message and what he said so I knew what he was talking about. Because numbers are censored, Moderators, who obviously need to be trained so they can tell numbers from cussing in those little ****, banned me for saying "I remember 9/11" which was "I remember **** ****" or something similar. Then I said, "Nine Eleven" which was "***** ****" then "9 11" which was "***** ****" or something similar.
It's very frustrating. That's a major flaw in censoring numbers, because many moderators here are so frigging.. ghadsifn I don't know what to say. So here I am, having to sign in, post in a message board, and wait a week and I might not even get unbanned because I've been to Chat-Avenue many times before and I know how it's like no body cares. It's just aggravating.
So unban me, and I hope to God someone doesn't respond with "Oh u have to pm this one guy that doesn't check his PMs". Just foward this thread to him or something, Idk. Jesus christ.
