Default 'Superman Returns' comes out in 20 days - Will it be successful?

"Superman Returns" comes out in 20 days, in case you didn't know. Do you think that this film will be a major hit or a major flop at the box-office? Judging by the trailers and television spots I've watched on *******, this film looks like it's going to be a major success. That's just my opinion, though.

Nobody can replace Christopher Reeve as Superman. The first movie was great so why mess with a classic? Hollywood must really be running out of ideas cuz they're also remaking the 1970s classic "The Omen." Also a great movie that shouldn't be messed with.

"Superman Returns" is not a remake. It is a loose sequel to "Superman II". Bryan Singer, the director, has discarded "Superman III" and "Superman IV", so the events from those movies will never occur. Get your facts straight before you post.

I think it'll do alright, but I think the previous superman movies made a total mockery of Superman, and Lex, and Lois, the comics had more depth for christs sake.

Bring on a green lantern movie lol.

it seems to have a decent cast...im praying kevin spacey will be able to carry the film if things get choppy.

ill go see superman returns just to see the previews at the beginning. big movies like that always have pretty decent previews. maybe theyll have a spiderman 3 trailer but i doubt it.

Judging by the three or four full-length trailers I've seen on *******, I think this film is going to be fantastic. I mean, if it was bad, why the heck is Warner Bros. planning a sequel in '09?

Link here - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0770828/

Another reason as to why I feel this is going to be a success is the director, Bryan Singer. He directed "X-Men" and "X2: X-Men United", both of which were fantastic films. I am so glad he passed on "X-Men: The Last Stand" to do "Superman Returns".

I have read some early reviews on-line, and it is official: "Superman Returns" will be the best film this summer, and possibly all year. They are giving Brandon Routh praise for his performance as Clark Kent/Superman. Remember "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace"? At the end of the movie, Superman drops Lex Luthor off at the prison he broke out of early in the movie. Then Superman said, "See you in twenty [years]." That film was released in 1987. Hmmm...
