Default Problem.

Ok my friend has this problem , here is the msg he sent me

Tell him to find the utlities disk and reinstal all the drivers for his USB....

I can't think of anything else.

hmm, sound like what happened to me earlier..

When he inserted his Ipod, did he download anything off of Limewire? Lately viruses have been spread from there, certain songs and whatnot carry them (so I've heard) if so, tell him to delete the songs and clear his cookies..
it helped me O.o
and make sure his connections are secure..otherwise the computer is all out of sync.

If you have an Applications or a Drivers recovery disc that came with your.. well his comp.. It'll only fix those files that are needed to recognize hardware, and probably put a new Explorer.exe file on there...

Just reinstall the USB driver(s). I doubt it is a virus from limwire, becaause a metafile exploit is a VERY uncommon thing.
