Default Science conundrum

Is it possible that what we think of as inanimate objects actually have some sort of sentience? or can we merely alter the world with the power of our minds?

watch this video before you decide:

thanks for bringing the clip to my attention - I think I have seen another part on the series about how water crystals were shaped differently according to how they were verbally treated

As to whether matter is animate or not i think matter reciprocates with consciousness - just as this body is dull matter, yet animated by our soul, we have the ability to also influence other matter as well, but I think that just as our consciousness bears an influence, god's consciousness, being superior bears more of an influence - in other words we may be desiring something but god's desire is stronger (since he has the greater consciousness) and just as we may be able to bear influence on particles, god can bear influence on us

I actually think that all these possibilities are what actually is happening but our minds can't comprehend it so we only see what we can understand.

Oh btw...thank you for responding to the thread...it's lack-luster response so far is probably indictative of the fact that I shouldn't put the word science in the title.
