Need advise on a situation.
Okay, I have this problem and maybe one of you guy's can give me some information on what to do about it if theres anything I can do. I have a antivirus on my computer and I keep getting these pop up's from it saying that it has detected and blocked the intrusion attempt. That's good, but it keep's poping up like every two seconds. Is the person who's IP address I got have some kind of loop thing in my computer or is he constantally sending me a virus? Is there anything I can do to block him? I'm lost and the popup is getting sorta annoying.

if you keep getting a message...then it's good....because it means your system is blocking them...*shrugs* i'd typically turn logging or notification off...these days...my system gets dozens of attack requests a minute...mostly random people just scanning whole blocks of ips at a time to see if one...or any...of them are vulnerable to any specific exploit...

Try and get a free firewall, or a trial one from someone like ZoneAlarm, they're currently leading in anti virus and firewall technology. You might have to buy it but it would be worth it. Also try getting a better Anti Virus? what do you currently use?

ok
well if somone does have ur ip and port bad its easy to kill a fire wall its probaly some idiot sence u keep getting those reports i suggest tighter security try getting an port check to check all your open ports and see if u got an intruder zone alarms the best security u can get theres 65'000 ports on everyones computer all a hacker needs is 1 open port there are clients that can by pass fire walls or it could b nothing to worrie about just server attacks
