I dont usually share poetry but here goes.


THERE YOU SIT IN YOUR SILENCE
HERE I SIT IN MINE
WERE AS MUCH ALONE TOGETHER
AS IF WE WERE APART

I LONG TO REACH OUT AND HOLD U
TO HAVE U IN MY ARMS
BUT INSTEAD I REMAIN QUIET
MY FEAR OF REJECTION IS STRONG

WOULDNT IT BE MUCH EASIER
IF WE COULD READ EACH OTHERS MIND
REVEAL WITHOUT WORDS
WHAT WE BOTH FEEL INSIDE

BUT THAT OF COURSE ISNT POSSIBLE
SO NOW WHAT CAN WE DO
TO BREAK DOWN THIS WALL BETWEEN US
AND LET EACH OTHER THROUGH
